April 15th “Tea Party” At McCoart

By Greg L | 2 April 2009 | National Politics, Prince William County | 16 Comments

I’m hearing rumors that there will be a “Taxed Enough Already” (TEA) protest at McCoart Center on April 15th.  If you’ve got the details, I’m sure a lot of folks would want to find out more about this!

UPDATE: I got this in my inbox, so it looks like this is actually happening:

On April the 15th, please be part of the taxed enough already (Tea) party rally.

Are you concerned with a Congress and President who:

  • Voted for a $500 billion tax bill without taking the time to read it?
  • Spending trillions of borrowed dollars that will leave a debt that our Children and great-grand children will be paying??
  • Running up trillions of dollars of debt and then selling that debt to countries such as China?
  • Planning to have government control health care?
  • Refusing to stop the flow if illegal aliens into our beloved country?
  • Planning to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in Unionized elections?
  • Consistently giving special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks?

IF SO, PLEASE PARTICIPATE IN THE TEA PARTY TO BE HELD ON THE GROUNDS OF THE MCCOART ADMINISTRATION CENTER NEXT TO THE PRINCE WILLIAM PARKWAY ON APRIL 15TH at 12 noon to 1:00 p.m.

…But here’s the deal. If government is serious about rebooting the economy, reforming healthcare and improving public education, everybody’s going to pay for it — just like we’re paying for this brilliant, trillion-dollar adventure in Iraq
The difference is that much of the money spent here at home will have a measurable impact on American children, college students, seniors, veterans, working families and small businesses.
As a taxpayer, I’ve got no problem with that. It makes more sense than starting a faraway war on a whim.

I have a big problem with paying 116,000.00 to the government for their pork projects.

If true, I’ll be there, and then maybe for those of us who live in the City we can continue the protest in front of City Hall.

Great video of the Sheriff’s Department of Maricopa County defending themselves, their jobs, and the Constitution of the United States and telling Mayor Gordon to “Shut Up”

those sheriff’s are pretty ticked, they have a right to be. interesting how people seem to go against those who are keeping us safe, apparently the politicians like having their constituents killed, raped and murdered. Guess if all your constituents become illegals you dont really have to worry about it since the are readily replaceable with fresh recruits from across the border.

A message to all members of The Patriotic Resistance

    To: ResistNet Team

We have had a great response from many team members requesting the bumper stickers and booklets for distribution at upcoming tea parties.

Bad news: we’ve passed the time when we can ship you resources in time for the tea parties on 4/15.

Good news: We have (finally!) posted ResistNet flyers and posters that you can easily print at your neighborhood print center and take with you to the tea parties!

    Go home to access:

    http://www.resistnet.com

    Thanks for your Patriotic Resistance!

P.S. If you are attending a tea party or other event AFTER 4/17, you can still order the bumper stickers and booklets. See the “order” link on the home page.

Does anyone know if there is a TEA Party rally happening after 5:00PM on that day. I am sure that there are a lot of people who can’t take the time off for the earlier one but who would like to participate. None of this is on the news. It would be very interesting to see what news coverage we might get if there were so many protesters in down town Manassas that the traffic were disrupted by sheer numbers.
