You may be able to find the suspect in the above mentioned case standing among other day laborers at the 7-11 at Rt. 1 & PWC PKWY. They haven’t apprehended the suspect in the murder that occurred at that location after Chief Deane ordered his officers & detectives to cease questioning anyone at the crime scene as it may seem the police department is conducting themselves unfavorably toward hispanics. I vote NO CONFIDENCE for the leadership of the PWCPD. I can only guess the case is no closer to being solved than the day it happened. Way to go Charlie! I wonder when the murdered will strike again since he has been given a free pass to commit murder.

Perhaps Dave had a legitimate reason to question the “victim.” According to the newspaper’s report, the “victim” had been drinking with others, was asked to leave the house, left and then returned with another person looking for trouble. I didn’t know that it was against the law to ask a question, but I do know that being in this country illegally IS against the law.

Dave: I’m a citizen. My ancestors were legal immigrants (although in those days, just showing up was about the only legal requirement) If you came over to me while I was on a gurney waiting to be airlifted to the ER after being stabbed, I would have cussed you out at least as vociferously as your victim did. Not sure that that reaction establishes immigration status with any certainty.

The life flight helicopter landed yesterday in my neighborhood to take the illegal alien hispanic stabbing victim off on an all tax payer paid expensive helicopter ride to a hospital. How do I know he was an illegal? I asked him and he cussed me out, in Spanish and English while he was on the gurney waiting for his private ride to arrive. Why Hispanics, as opposed to every ethnic group? Why the census? One of the big problems with the census as it has been conducted in recent cycles is that people perceive it to be going beyond the constitutional head count requirement and don’t cooperate. Do you think cooperation (hence accuracy) would improve if it were perceived as a status determination device?

We will NEVER get a true figure on how many illegals reside in America. No one would dare since a true count would be much higher than the estimates.

It would help answer the question of whether it would be reasonable for public financing to be given to an ethnic-based charity (such as CASA de Maryland) when that charity will provide support regardless of legal status when their target group is largely illegal aliens, for example. It might help provide useful information when looking at the amount of money the public schools are spending on ESOL, what health services are being provided, and whether we should print ballots in languages other than English.

We spend a lot of taxpayer money providing specialized services to specific ethnic groups. If it becomes apparent that a large proportion of those funds may be used to support the unlawful presence of illegal aliens, the taxpayers have a right to question whether those expenses are justified.
