Once you recognize that fact, the sequitur is obvious.

It all comes back to the same old rhetoric “pay back taxes, a fine or penalty and learn English.” Tell me how they figure what “their back taxes are when they have been paid under the counter. Fines or penalties will never be collected (maybe they will be given a payment plan of say, over thirty years?) Learning English? There are illegals in this country who have been here for many years and can’t speak a word of English. “Comprehensive immigration reform” is nothing but AMNESTY. The last two Senate immigration bills that were defeated were the same and that is WHY they were defeated. What will convince the American public that a new “Comprehensive immigration bill” will be any different?

Warner appears to be gathering support for his “future” political endeavors.
I’m sure the Hispanic groups will be falling all over him because of his support for illegals.

Any solution should not penalize those individuals who have followed the law and are here legally. We must enforce our existing immigration laws and increase border security to prevent more undocumented people from entering the country illegally.

In addition, any business owner who knowingly hires undocumented workers should be held accountable. Finally, I believe undocumented individuals should not gain an unfair advantage from their actions. Any effort to earn legal status must include paying back taxes, a fine or penalty, and taking steps to learn English.

I wonder if Arnold has any other brilliant ideas the republicans can use to save the state with the most illegals? Oh yeah, higher fuel standards and get bashed as asking the people for more tax dollars to waste. Another republican lost in space. Now Warner wants to throw a simple 100 grand around to such a worthy cause - may be its called “get out the vote”.

Let’s see, Warner’s 100K, ACORN and the ACLU, CASA, and the rest of the illegal lovers, will only add a few more mil to the deficit (stop the crying - they have trillions to spend). Obama has effectively tripled the debt and over doubled the Bush deficit, as he admits. Now he promises to “reduce the deficit to one half” at the end of his term. I ask you, how does one feel about bashing Bush over spending (and he did), complain of the “over-spending” (drunken sailor is close), tripling the budget (there goes - Mr. Present - Obama), at least doubling the deficit (wow, and I thought we were in trouble with Bush)and then making me feel better, after 4 years, to only bring the deficit back to the day he took office? - if we are lucky. Wow, now that is change you can believe in. Yes “we” can.

Warner helps by heaping gas on the fire; Taxpayer money, “well” spent by republicans and democrats alike but this president has spent like no other before or since. Warner must be warming up for a door prize. Gosh, I’m so proud of him.
