Sean Hannity at the RPV Convention
By Greg L | 2 June 2009 | RPV | 7 Comments
Some readers have requested the video of Sean Hannity at the Republican Convention, and this is one of the very few speeches from the convention that I have. It was shot at extreme zoom on my camera and even that wasn’t quite enough, so the quality isn’t quite as good as I’d like, but it does have some cutaways to the crowd’s reaction and the super-cool RPV graphic that was showing on the big screen. For those that couldn’t make this convention, it definitely will give you a sense of what being there was like.
Enjoy.

The video may be slightly fuzzy, but the message is crystal clear!
I heard Barry Goldwater, Jr. on Beck the other day, and I’m thinking he might be the smartest man in the room for what Republicans need to oust the Democrats and crawl back on top. Of course, problem is, I fear Republicans won’t be able to gel around such a smart message and stick to it without becoming corrupted.
Oh, and the dumbest man in the room? Powell.
I thought his presentation was lackluster, first time I have ever seen him live, wasn’t impressed.
I was at that convention (great vibes all around) and the most inspiring speaker I heard was the young cadet commander from VA Tech, Adnan Barqawi, who came here from Kuwait to attend college.
WOW, what a speech and what a story!!! He has a message everyone needs to hear and he had us up on our feet through most of his speech. He reminds us of so many things we have forgotten about or taken for granted in this great country. What is really interesting is to hear his perspective on what it is to be a “new citizen” and how diversity really means “embracing your new culture, rather than expecting your new culture to embrace YOU”. “I have learned the meaning of individual respionsibility, that no one is in charge of my welfare except myself”. He was dynamic, to say the least.
His speech is on youtube in 2 parts, both of which I’ve included.
Take a few minutes, listen to him and (regardless of your party), be inspired by what he has to say.
Enjoy

Great - Sean Hannity -
Just another pundit who can sway the way the wind blows on any topic, so that he can spout about it for his show.
There are many times that I agree with him, but he wants to rile up his audience so much, that I have no respect for his views.
zuzu, concur.
Pat.Herve, we conservatives are fortunate to have Sean Hannity “rile”
up his audience. He speaks the truth, which is a hellava lot more than
most of the other slobbering clowns, i.e. Chris Matthews with the
thrill running up his leg. Give me a break!
