Totally agree with Howard the Duck. If either of our thoroughly corrupted political parties could get behind that as an issue, I’d probably vote for them. However, it’s pretty obvious that neither one can or will.

Hey BP. Now about calling the current President “Urkel” and considering it disrespectful. Frankly a label of “Urkel” is nowhere near disrespectful enough considering all the just plain evil mischief that he and his cronies are masterminding now. Firing 3 IG’s in a week because they are getting too close to the real goings on? Steve Urkel would never do anything like that, however hapless and inept he might be. Idi Amin, maybe closer to the truth.

President Urkel! I had never heard that one before. That is not only funny, it is extremely accurate. I wonder why Saturday Night Live has not had that skit on. They did their best to make fun of Bush. I bet their ratings would improve if they did an Urkle and Ester (Fred Sanford’s sister in law) shopping in Paris gag. Man, the humor they are passing up to be in the tank for O-man. They’re gonna need a ratings bailout. Maybe Letterman …. Nevermind. Keep ‘em coming BVBL!

BVBL, go to http://www.vpap.org/updates/show/266 and see new candidates for the House. Now Ward Armstrong has a Republican opponent along with an independent. Also it appears that in the end, 23 Republicans and only 9 democrats are without challenges.

What does this say about the Democrat recruiting effort? Could it be that ol’ Ward is “all hat and no cattle” when it comes to taking on the GOP? Bet they toss him a their leader…

“President Urkel”

I regard that as a fairly un-American thing to say. It’s one thing not to like a President, and another to regard him as say a stone-cold idiot as I did Bush. It’s another to cultivate nicknames of disrespect for him.

And at that, the nickname is going to strike 99.9% of people, as it does me, to be based on racial animus. He doesn’t look or act like Urkel particularly. Why the Urkel comparison? Maybe you should just call hima gorilla, you could make the national news that way.
