Let’s Find This Guy

By Greg L | 8 July 2009 | Crime, Manassas City | 14 Comments

A second attempted abduction in Manassas has prompted the Manassas City Police Department to issue the following press release.  Everyone should be watching for this vehicle so we can take this trash that preys on young teenage girls and throw it in jail.

MANASSAS CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT
BOLO: ATTEMPTED ABDUCTION

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:
Dark blue / Navy blue minivan, possibly Dodge Caravan, red “pine tree” air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror, tinted windows from the rear sliding door to the back.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
Hispanic male, late 30’s early 40’s, black crew cut hair style, wearing a black “tank top” t-shirt and blue jeans, with tan “timberland ” style boots, spoke English well.

On July 7, 2009 at approximately 1:40 p.m. a 16 year old female was walking to the Wellington Community Center on Clover Hill Road near the intersection of Strawflower Lane when she was approached by a navy blue minivan driven by a Hispanic male. The suspect pulled up to the victim, got out of the vehicle and grabbed her by the arm trying to pull her into his vehicle and said “get in the car”. She was able to pull away from the suspect and ran to the Wellington Pool. The victim was shown several models of vans and picked out a Dodge minivan (similar to minivan pictured above) that closest matched the suspect vehicle. The victim believes it had Virginia tags, unknown registration number.
The suspect drove away in the direction of the 234 bypass.

**** NOTE ****
This is the 2nd attempted abduction of a victim of similar description (16 year old, blond, female) walking to the Wellington Pool during afternoon hours in less than one month. It is apparent the suspect is aware of children that might be walking to the community center and may be driving around that area at any given time. In both instances the victim reports that no other cars were nearby or people in their yards or walking when the attempted abduction occurred. (SEE BELOW FOR PREVIOUS INCIDENT INFO)

PREVIOUS INCIDENT INFORMATION
Attempted Abduction

On Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 10:00 p.m. a juvenile and her mother came to the Manassas City Police Department to report an Attempted Abduction. The victim, a 15 year old female, reported to officers at approximately 6:30 p.m. she was walking to the Wellington Community Center to meet with friends. She was walking in the 9600 block of Cloverhill Road when she noticed a dark blue “van or truck” parked on the right hand side of the road, with a Hispanic male sitting on the passenger side with the door open and his feet hanging out. According to the victim she made eye contact with him and kept walking. After “10 steps” she felt arms grab her by the waist and try to pull her back. She tried to fight him off and succeeded by kicking him. He released her and she ran the rest of the way to the Community Center. This incident was not reported
until she went back home and told her mother what had happened several hours earlier.

The victim could only describe the suspect as being a Hispanic male, approximately 5′7″, 150 lbs operating a dark blue truck or van.

At least the MJM did a story on it this time. I chastized them last time for not putting the press release from the police in the paper. The story showed up the next day. Now thats journalism at it’s finest.

Off topic but Warner and Webb both voted against E-verify today. And Warner voted not to fund 700 miles of fencing.

I drive down Wellington for lunch every day and I did see a couple of Manassas PD cars roaming around during the lunch hour.

I just came home and there was a police car at the intersection, though, I’m not sure if it was passing out flyiers or not. This creep is going to be tough to catch given the number of vans driven in this area.

The channel 7 news crew and several police officers were on Clover Hill at about 6PM filming for tonight’s news. They may still be there.

I wonder how many illegals live next to, below or above Webb or Warner. The answer, of course, is none. I’ve been run out of my home twice by these people who refuse to conduct themselves like decent human beings and show even the slightest respect for their neighbors. I wish I could find a job somewhere else. I’d leave here tomorrow and this is my home. I was born and raised here. It makes me sick to my stomach. Our “representatives” do anything but represent us. In fact, it’s starting to feel like they’ve declared war on us, if anything!

zuzu, “In fact, it’s starting to feel like they’ve declared war on us, if anything!”

They have and are continuing to do so. And they have allies like La Raza, ACLU, SPLC, and a few other organizations.

That is what I would like to know. Of all the elected officials in the Country, how many are representing legal citizens and how many are representing the illegals?

Maybe someone could get a grant from the stimulus funds and then conduct a research project to find out. The project should include both federal and state elective offices.

Of course, the legal citizens part of the project would not have that many names, while the illegals’ part would be involved and take much longer to complete.

Of course they didn’t. They were voting the strict party line of Duh Reid and his ilk. Web also voted yea for the failed past comprehensive immigrational bill. Both Warner and Webb have no concern for the unemployed of Virginia and would rather see illegal aliens take America’s jobs. Both are wealthy in their own right and need the cheep labor to cut their grass and nanny their kids and grand kids. NO SURPRISES HERE!

Zuzu, I feel exactly the same way. We are like Custer and his troops at Little Bighorn. We have fought well, but there are just too many on the other side.

If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves. - Churchill

CASTRATE him when he is caught. He won’t do it again!

That’s great, es_la_ley, but the only problem is that Churchill had the US government at his back. In this case, the government is on the side of the bad guys!

I’m out of here as soon as I can sell my house (which means I’ll probably be here for another year or two).
