The Easiest Thing You Can Do To Protect America

Last week the Senate approved several amendments to the appropriations bill for the Department Homeland Security that would re-authorize and expand the E-verify program, continue the program where the Social Security Administration notifies employers that their employees have reported fraudulent Social Security Numbers, and other provisions that would help secure the United States from the illegal alien invasion and protect the ability of American workers to obtain jobs. If these amendments are to survive the process where the House and Senate reconcile differences between their different versions of the bill, Americans have to put the pressure on. Now.
When the “stimulus” bills went through, similar amendments were included, but they were stripped out of the final legislation by the conference committee, ensuring that the “stimulus” program would employ at least a quarter of a million illegal aliens with your tax money. If these amendments pass, that outrage will be undone, and government contractors would have to ensure that federal dollars aren’t being used to pay wages to persons not legally authorized to work in the United States. Wouldn’t it be nice to have your tax money being used to pay only legal workers, rather than support the unlawful presence of illegal aliens?

I know of a lady who lost her job in the garment industry, no work in her state and she can’t afford her COBRA payments. Yet a garment manufacturer was caught employing 18,000 illegal aliens.
We need to do this!
Being 56 and a laid off American, I am all for this as well. It is hard enough to find a job at my age, let alone having to compete against cheap illegal labor. I have ben amember of Numbers USA for several years and I suggest it to everyone. It is one small way to help get our message to the politicians, whether they listen to us is another story.
Name one politician in the Wash. DC area that supports citizens over illegals?
We need federal legislation that grants equal rights to citizens over illegals at both the federal and state level. Currently, citizens have less rights than illegals plus illegals have far easier and greater access to these supporting politicians and their appointed officials (lackeys).
