Jeanette Rishell Campaign Peddles ObamaCare

By Greg L | 17 August 2009 | Jeanette Rishell, 50th HOD District | 6 Comments

This screenshot from Barack Obama’s perpetual campaign shows that while Ilana Kaplan-Shain was being paid as the campaign manager for Jeanette Rishell, she was also organizing healthcare events in support of ObamaCare here in Manassas.  If you happen to call the contact phone number listed for the event, the person answering the phone answers with “Rishell for Delegate”, so it’s not that much of a stretch to contend that Jeanette Rishell’s campaign manager was doing this with the full support of Jeanette Rishell.  So is Jeanette Rishell working with the current administration to promote Obama’s socialized medicine agenda?  It seems so.

It’s unusual for a House of Delegates campaign to be lending resources to a national political effort, especially when the campaign is in such deep trouble.  Campaign managers don’t have endless amounts of spare time to work on things that don’t advance their candidate’s campaign.  There are door’s to be knocked (even if you’re claiming you’re hitting a thousand doors a day), press releases to send out, and events to coordinate.  Then of course for this campaign, there are inquiries about this specific campaign manager promoting hard-core pornography in schools and claiming that her pictures of used condoms discarded in toilets actually are the property of “Friends of Jeanette Rishell”, which cuts into the available time as well.  So setting up and managing events designed to sell the federal government taking over an additional near-fifth of our economy isn’t a decision taken lightly.  This is deliberate.  And to the campaign, it is doubless important, as well.

So is Jeanette Rishell dedicated to advancing the hugely unpopular government intrusion in our healthcare system?  She could have avoided the question by rightly pointing out this is a national issue, but she’s not doing that.  She’s lending her campaign to “Organizing For America”, trying to make sure this monstrosity gets rammed down our throats.

Voters should be asking her lots of questions about this, and not taking they typical non-answers Rishell usually provides, but demanding some straight talk.  If this is so important to her campaign that she’s going to lend her campaign manager to the effort and donate the use of her campaign’s resources, she ought to be able to explain to the voters why, and what this means for the agenda she wants to promote in the House of Delegates if elected.

If you’re not sure how to contact Jeanette Rishell’s campaign, you can reach them at 571-482-7703, when they’re not busy lending that phone number to “Organizing For America.”  After you do, I’m sure readers will be very interested if you share what you learned.

TOTALLY OFF TOPIC BUT RELEVANT TO NOVEMBER:

If you renewed your drivers license sometime over the last 13 months or so at the DMV office in Manassas you may be getting a packet from the Voter Registration office saying you are no longer registered to vote.

It turns out some genius at DMV checked the “Not A US Citizen” box in the Voter Registration section even if you were already a registered voter and all you were doing was renewing your license.

If that happened on your license renewal you’ve been removed from the registered voter roles and must re-register to vote.

This happened to my wife and the people in the Voter Registrar’s office said they had to send out HUNDREDS of letters to notify people that they are no longer registered.

Obamacare is not going to play well in Manassas. Rishell is the most out of touch candidate the city has ever seen.

I am sure that the Rishell campaign is in full support of their Dear Leader, Obama. What, with all that porn-watching (hetero, homo and Tri-sexual), bull-riding, using all those condoms, and waxing philisophic about pre-marital sex, they are going to need those government funded abortions to avoid the “consequences” of their actions. Don’t need any crumb-snatchers slowing them down whilst building a socialist utopia, workers paradise, and Roman orgy obsessed society.

It doesn’t surprise me one bit. This is Jeanette’s new camapign strategy. During her first campaign, she was very specific about her positions, and which issues were important to her. The voters rejected her at the poles. So during her next campaign, she was less specific about her previously rejected positions, and instead, she resorted to lying about her opponent. When that strategy failed in a BIG way, she stepped back and looked around at who was able to craft a message that resonated with the voters. She looked at the Obama campaign. She looked at Saul Alinsky’s “community organizing” tactics, and devised her “new” campaign strategy.

That Jeanette subscribes to Alinsky’s views should not be open to debate. She’s been a “community organizer” for many more years than she’s been a candidate for office. Through her “church”, she’s raised money for the EZLN front-group, Mexicans Without Borders, and their local chapter, the Woodbridge Workers Party. These organizations are marxist in their ideology. Her “church” has a decidedly socialist/marxist flavor to it, with its emphasis on “social justice”. She serves on the Social Justice Committee, of the BRUU, and has been the spokesperson for Unity in the Community. Anyone who has heard her speak outside of “candidate-mode” has heard her advocating for the desolution of traditional marriage with her oposition to the marriage ammendment, open borders with her opposition to 287G and the COM’s efforts to combat overcrowding, redistribution of wealth with her proposed tax policies. The most insideous of her proposals, universal pre-K, is an attempt to force children out of the home or private daycare at the earliest possible point, so they can enter the public school system at an even more impressionable age, and thus begin the liberalization and dependency on the state at the earliest age possible. All these ideas are straight out of the teachings of Saul Alinsky, wrapped in noble sounding terms like “Social Justice”.

Jeanette said it herself in her April press that she is encouraged by the Obama campaigns success in Manassas. As we are finding out DAILY, the Obama campaign executed a masterful bait-and-switch. Speaking in platitudes and generalities, avoiding all specificity, and where ever possible, present the candidate as a mainstream moderate, the Obama campaign was successful in making those who were accurately exposing his radical views, positions, actions, votes and associations look like the paranoid fringe. However, in the eight months that Obama has been in office, those that criticized Obama have been proven correct in their characterizing him as a radical leftist, bent on forever changing the structure and foundation of the country. Americans are realizing it, as reflected in the TEA parties, opposition to socialized medicine as expressed in the town halls, polls that indicate the majority believe that the Obama stimulis has failed, that he is overreaching, over propagandizing, and in the decline of his once stratospheric popularity.

So, if it isn’t clear already, Jeanette is cut from the same political cloth as is Barrack Obama. Like him, her only public service has been as a “community organizer” trying to further a socialist agenda. She has decided to hide her political views in generalities and platitudes. She has hired a secular-progressive camapign manager. She is part of the Obama network metastasizing within our country. She’s counting on your ignorance, and your belief that no radical would live next door to you.

Now, for those who would say, “Jeanette is running for Delegate. Even if this is true, how much damage could she do?” To this I say, you need to understand what is at stake here. Whichever party controls the Virginia HOD after the 2010 census, draws the Virginia congressional districts to the US Congress. Many solidly conservative Republicans, like Frank Wolf will be drawn out of the congress. That’s right. He’d be one of the first to go. No election. Drawn out. Think about that.

If that’s not scary enough, consider this; in 2000, Obama was a local community organizer. In 2004, he was a state senator from Illinois, who gave a speach at the ‘04 DNC convention. In 2006 he was elected to the US senate, and in 2008, elected our president. Eight years. Think about that, when Jeanette Rishell is on your doorstep, selling herself as a Mother and Grandmother, Church-going Christian, who fights for family values, and is only concerned with “social justice and equality for all”.

    Not Ilana,

That is about as spot-on an analysis of Rishell as I have read, anywhere. My fear is that even presented with all of this evidence, ignorant voters will either say “so?” Or won’t be able to bring themselves to accept what a leftwing kook she really is.

Wow! The perp should be hunted down and jailed. This is a government operation. We do not pay taxes for this.
