Keith Fimian, Doing Gerry Connolly’s Job Better

By Greg L | 25 August 2009 | Gerry Connolly, US Congress | 6 Comments

While Congressman Gerry Connolly didn’t want to hear from constituents in the 11th District, his opponent Keith Fimian did.  Here’s a segment where Keith talks about how bad ObamaCare looks and what alternatives the Democrats in Congress are ignoring that would make real improvements in the quality, cost and availability of health care.  A big thanks goes out to fellow activist Lisa Miller for conducting these interviews.

I like keith’s idea of trying out something in one state to see how it goes rather than trying to ram one big overhaul down our throats in a month or two that we have no idea about. What if this idea completely sucks? Do we want the whole country screwed up?

I vote we let maryland try it first. They’re a bunch of socialists that would love the idea.

I thought Obama’s ideas have been tried in other countries (like Britain) and in the People’s Republic of Taxachusetts. And yeah, the socialized medicine ideas do suck.

The Town Hall idea is a good one. Imagine, 11th District residents get a note about a “Congressional District Town Hall,” but it’s Keith Fimian answering voters’ questions (and pointing out why Connolly is so opposed to their interests).

Fimian is the man for the job. We need honest and forthcoming representatives, and Gerry Connolly just doesn’t fit the bill.

Where’s the Wolf man and his merry band of staff assistants? Attending to business in China? Darfur? Sierra Leone? There are no frequent flier miles to be had by holding a town hall meeting at the Bull Run shopping center. Of course, he’d need an interpreter if he did hold one there.

I agree with that. But, what kind of tool do you think he is? Jig saw? Combination tool? Number 2 phillips? Adjustable metric crescent wrench? I was just thinking. . . “ball peen hammer” may be fitting. (peen or piein: the hemispherical or otherwise formed end of the head of a hammer opposite the face)
