PWC Gets Another Hero

Looks like we have another hero in the county.
The car’s engine compartment caught fire, and that’s when the driver told the officer that his baby girl was inside the car.
Oyler rushed to the car to find the child.
“I couldn’t get the driver’s side door opened so I went around to the passenger side door and pried it open, reached in and pulled the baby out,” he said.
Though heavy smoke was billowing from the engine into the cabin, Oyler said he had no problems getting the girl out of her car seat.
The 8-month-old girl was okay, though she was checked at a hospital as a precaution. She was released to her mother.
Kudos to officer Oyler, who risked his life to save an innocent child. Let’s hope the sheer idiot who needlessly put this child in danger gets the book thrown at him.

This guy abandoned his child and placed her in danger. Abandoned. So why can’t I adopt this child??!!!
That officer is selfless and truly a hero.
One dollar to your hole in a donut the perp is I2.
Good Job!
“Sheer idiot” seems rather mild. A man who would abandon his child in such circumstances… scratch that: ANY circumstances … should be rendered physically incapable of siring another.
“The driver jumped from the car and was trying to get away”
Charge him with hit-and-run, as well as speeding.
“[The driver] has been identified as 23-year-old Gustavo Adolfo Diaz-Bautista, of 14527 Castleford Court in Centreville”
Surprise.
Great work by this officer. The dad should never be allowed around his kid again, and should not see daylight for at least 5 years. And I agree with Mr. young - seems a castration is in order.
Another example of the fine force we have within the PWCPD.
I’m in agreement w/ Jimmy da Greek, above. This appears to be another illegal alien in our jurisdiction putting legal residents, including his own child, at risk of serious bodily injury. It’s a risk that did not have to happen, if our federal government were doing its job to provide for the safety and security of its citizens.

He was only in a hurry to get to his job (that Americans won’t do) so he could take care of his family and give them a better life.
