Term Limits With ObamaCare

This segment from the Recess Rally in front of Congressman Gerry Connollly’s District office features a constituent demanding that Congress enroll in the same program they are trying to force on the rest of the country and who asks why it’s supposedly OK for people to demand that government stay out of their medical decisions when it means killing their in-utero baby, but not when it means rationing their healthcare, which could end up killing them. Perhaps best is the notion that having Congress participate in single-payer government care would result in a form of term limits for Congress, as it would definitely decrease their life expectancy.
While Congress enjoys some of the best health care coverage in the world, a plan that mere constituents are prohibited from participating in, it is outrageous that they would enact healthcare “reform” that would relegate their constituents to much the same disaster that has befallen Canada and Great Britain. Our elected officials are not royalty. They do not deserve the kind of exclusive health care spas that were provided to selected Communist Party members in the Soviet Union. Any “reform” should ensure that elected officials are provided with the same health care options their constituents have. Not only would that personally alert them to problems, but it’s far more consistent with the government that our founding fathers established.

Who can we get to attach a term limit rider to this bill? It would fail for certain.
That’s a good idea, unless the “prez” uses line-item veto.
The best term limit is to simply vote them out.

Yup - lets do nothing. It has worked for a while, and while we bury our heads in the sand, the problems will all go away by themselves.
