I can remember when those that protested against this administration were ridiculed, ignored and hated. Now all we are to the left is finger food.

I cannot believe how newspapers don’t report the news anymore. We have cancelled our subscription to the Washington Post because they don’t even cover the news. Where is the coverage of the Tea Party rallies across the country? Where is the coverage Van Jones? Thank God for FOX News. Let the critics watch FOX News for a couple of weeks and their eyes would be opened. Fox covers the liberal point of view (I know because it makes my blood boil to hear their opinions) as well as conservative viewpoints.

Many prayed to God that Barack Obama would be elected as our president.

Many prayed to God that Barack Obama would not be elected as our president.

God listened to those that wanted Barack Obama, so it is God’s will we are blessed with the leadership of President Obama.

I don’t see how anyone that calls themselves a Christian can stand in the path of God’s will.

Well, things seem to be heating up again in the area. Wonder if these animals are illegals or “anchor babies?” In any event 3 out of 4 are of the Latino persuasion. Muy macho or so they think. One situation in Hoodbridge and the other perp lives in Westgate.

Can someone PLEASE tell me why traffic is so bad again in the park on 28? It took me over 30 minutes yesterday to get from the park to Centreville High School. It’s got to be the illegals all coming back again because every car is full of questionable looking Hispanic males and the 7-11s are packed to the gills with laborers. Next week should be a real treat with school starting back up again…

Some country we live in here where the cops and the politicians refuse to do their jobs and yet still get paid for it and not run out of town on a rail.

Prince William County Public Schools Position on the President’s Speech to Students on September 8
    Thursday, September 3, 2009

As you may be aware from news media reports, the President has scheduled a Webcast message to students for noon on Tuesday, September 8. Many are asking about what will be happening in PWCS classrooms. There is no mandate or direction to principals or teachers from the PWCS administration to participate in this address from the President. Like many other similar information items we receive from the U.S. Department of Education, the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), or other education-related organizations, they are passed along FYI as a potential instructional resource that teachers may choose to use if it is appropriate for their instruction and fits their lesson plans.

This position is consistent with the guidance of the VDOE. Schools that may have classes which choose to participate in the Webcast are encouraged to make reasonable accommodations for students whose parents may object to the viewing of the speech by their children during the school day. It is expected that the text of the speech will be posted on the White House Web site before it is given for parents and educators to review beforehand.

“Glen Hill is the best Sheriff we’ve ever had in Prince William County”

What are the benefits to the people of Prince William County?

    1) Less public safety services.
    2) 13 full time employees have been added to beef up the sheriff’s office.
    3) 2.6 million dollars has been added to fatten up the sheriff’s office operations budget.
    4) He down graded the office from being the guardian of the law, to police chief’s stooge.

    It’s a Republican dream.

None of the so-called major news outlets have covered Van Jones at all. I guess having a self described communist, cop hater, etc, in the White House is no big deal. Yup, there is no such thing as liberal media bias.

I think we should call the network news departments (though I don’t know the numbers) and ask them why they don’t cover the real news anymore. The ratings of the major networks’ news shows are steadily declining. Duh.

    COM,

You are correct, Glen talks about stories that nobody else is covering and bringing them out into the light of MSM. I was disappointed that some advertisers chose to drop their ads from his program and I let them know about it via emails. He is particularly letting us know about Van Jones the green czar and what his background is.

Well, despite being labeled a former “civil rights” activist by the AP, Van Jones has resigned. I love how being a commie, a self described black Nationalist, is considered a civil rights activist by the AP.

The companies are just to scared to stand up to racists. Fox news is also doing a great job, and now that Jones is out, it shows that truth and right are still qualities that can be followed no matter how harsh the attacks are.

Thank God for the likes of Glenn Beck who started the ball rolling on Van Jones.
Had it not been for his constant hammering, who knows how long it would have
taken for his “resignation” to come about? Perhaps this will get the ball rolling
on the other czars put into place by the anointed one and bring out a vetting
process (which should have been done in the first place). Birds of a feather flock
together, for sure. Van Jones happens to be a best friend of Maxine Waters who
spent some vacation time with the Obamas at the Cape. I wonder if Jones
got in some equal time there as well. These people are just unbelievable!

I see where the Communications Director of PWC is now leaving. I will be greatly disappointed if someone from here does not apply for any of those open positions - CIO, CXO or now Communications Director. This is the opportunity to turn your words into actions. Let us know you’ve applied and we’ll storm the BOS with support. It’s ours for the taking. Speak up if you apply, I would be happy to provide my support of the activists here to act - walk the talk!! Please. This kind of opportunity doesn’t come along very often…………..

Unfortunately, I have no skills for any of the open spots. But it sure seems that many do here. Did Advocator apply for the County Attorney job?

Regarding the community leader’s speech to the children:

“They” (the anti witches) ask “what’s the big deal”…..”many president’s speak to the children before school starts….” “We never got our panties in a knot about other presidents speaking….”
I wonder how much the community leader’s speech cost? Probably a lot more than this!!!!!
    ——————————————————————-
“Much has been made about the criticism surrounding President Obama’s Tuesday speech to the nation’s schoolchildren.

But when President George H.W. Bush delivered a similar speech in October 1991 to students at a junior high school in Washington, D.C., Democratic critics went much further and investigated the event, Washington Examiner columnist Byron York reported Tuesday.

Democrats, who controlled Congress at the time, ordered the General Accounting Office to probe the production of the speech and later summoned top Bush administration officials to Capitol Hill for a hearing, York wrote.

The Bush speech at Alice Deal Junior High School cost $26,750 — an expenditure paid by the Department of Education — and drew fire from Rep. William Ford, then chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee, who ordered the probe.

“As the chairman of the committee charged with the authorization and implementation of education programs, I am very much interested in the justification, rationale for giving the White House scarce education funds to produce a media event.”

The GAO found no wrongdoing on the part of the Bush administration

But after Bush spoke, The Washington Post implied in a front-page story that the speech was staged for the president’s political benefit, and Democratic allies continued to pounce on Bush for the cost of the event.”
