Before I moved to Prince William I lived in the People’s Republic of Arlington. One morning just after terrorist attacks of 9/11 I was watching the Arlington County Board (Board of County Supervisors) meeting on TV. I noticed that unlike the Arlington County School Board, the Arlington County Board did not recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
At the next Arlington County Board meeting during public comment (the Prince William version of citizens’ time) I stood and forced the Arlington County Board to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. To say the least the all Democrat body did not like this.
One thing led to another and the Washington Post did a piece on the matter and pretty much blew my actions off as a GOP stunt.
One evening the producer of the O’Reilly Factor called and asked if I’d like to go on the show to be interviewed by Bill O’Reilly. However, my appearance was contingent on me finding some person that found the Pledge of Allegiance offensive. Well I had the perfect person for them. The video tells the rest of the story…

Robert, I will say to you what Bill O’Reilly failed to say: “Robert, you are a Patriot”.
Bill also failed to tell the Dr that he, indeed is a “Pinhead”.
