Stevens Miller Draws Protesters

By Greg L | 17 September 2009 | Loudoun County, Fairfax County, Virginia House | 6 Comments

Governor/DNC Chairman Tim Kaine had a closed campaign event for Stevens Miller in Herndon the other day, prompting local residents to protest outside of the venue.  Not only were constituents allowed in by invitation only, but if the press wanted to attend they were required to pay $100 to the campaign of Stevens Miller.  Despite all this talk about being the “party of the people”, Democrats sure are trying to be an exclusive club, leaving those left out with the only alternative of protests to access Democratic candidates and their own Governor.

Desperation is the only explanation that comes to mind here.  Tom Rust must be in really good shape in his district.

Saw this on a lefty blog about ACORN/SEIU support of Miller:

The ground game is impressive and as I said before SEIU is very involved in the race for canvassing and phones.

So ACORN has weighed in against Tom Rust? Good reason to support him!
