I think they should be locked up before being deported, and if they are caught again in the Country, they need to be shot on sight, no questions asked.

I agree with this article…all recipients of benefits should be screened using E-Verify. With that said…this article exposes a KNOWN LOOPHOLE DUE TO THE ANCHOR BABY SYNDROME…

You see? If legal U.S. Citizens tried to use only our children to get benefits, we would be denied. Illegal alien parents somehow “escape this scrutiny” (what is the “criteria” used by the screeners? - that would be interesting to dig into). Only adults should be able to apply for benefits and only the adult applicant’s information should be verified using E-Verify. This would prevent illegal alien parents from using their “legal” (anchor baby) children to acquire benefits for them.

RE Greg’s post: I disagree that everyone other than “fringe leftists” think deporting 2I criminals is not only “the right thing to do, but imperative . . .” Greg’s formula sounds like liberal wishy-washiness to me. A lot of us conservatives think that they should be imprisoned and punished here. Deportation just throws them back in the pool of future illegal immigrants and raises the real possibility that they will not be punished in their home countries. The better policy is to punish them to the limits of the law here. Deport them after they are released.
