Stop Acorn fraud is right…don’t take anything for granted at this point. Acorn has been all over the place. I live in the same community as zuzu and I also saw SEIU going door to door with clipboards. The people they did get to talk to spent several minutes with them filling out some sort of paperwork. They weren’t just signing up for emails or newsletters because they spent far too much time on this “paperwork”. I wouldn’t put anything past this bunch. Please, everyone…take it to the ballot box and TOMORROW NIGHT, we’ll celebrate but not just yet.

Getting out and voting is a MUST - we can’t be overly confident.

Interestingly enough, I ran across this story about Dave Albo’s opponent, Greg Werkheiser. ( http://politicalincubus.com/2009/11/01/greg-werkheiser-the-acorn-doesnt-fall-far-from-the-tree/ )

It looks like Werkheiser has had a ton of ACORN money and volunteers. I wonder why ACORN would be so interested in electing this guy to office?

The Democrats only real hope is ballot fatigue at this point, blunting their HOD losses. That might still come into play, but its going to hurt with this kind of difference. This isn’t because McDonnell is winning Democrats and actual swing voters over in a tidal wave but because a lot of Dems aren’t coming out this cycle for a variety of reasons.

You’re going to see improved numbers for the GOP from the 2005 cycle but not by much. The Democrats numbers are going to be abysmal. With so much difference in the polling, there are going to be places in the state where the Democratic electorate resembles non-Governor year state elections (2007, 2003, and so forth.) as opposed to the Democrats ‘05 numbers.
