Hopefully by speaking to the director about this teacher will nip it in the bud right away, but if it continues, or you feel the need to leave, my kids go to a smaller daycare facility that has grown to several locations over the years. In fact they’ve been to two different locations within this company and in the 5+ years we’ve been with this company, I’ve yet to have an issue where they’re teaching the children anything contrary to what I would teach them myself. And anytime we’ve had any sort of issue, they’ve been very supportive and more than willing to work together to correct it (i.e. behavioral and/or developmental concerns). They have a great philosophy on how to treat children and how to discipline and correct unwanted behaviors that we’ve adopted at home because it was very close to how we wanted to raise our kids, and the consistency makes a difference.

You need to look for a private day care that is run from the owners house. We used one in Manassas, and were very happy, and in fact have remained friends with the entire family five years after our son “graduated” from the day care. It is a Christian Day care, and they don’t like illegals either, which is a plus.

All very true. I know it’s not a recovery, but that’s the BS being pushed by obama. Of course that is exactly what he wants, so that more people have to look toward the Government for help, which allows the Dems to grow the Government, and put even more of the burden on the “rich”.

Day Care Reform!

We have some pre-school children who stay at a private day care center while my wife and I are at work. One of the employees was actively trying to program them into new Obamatrons. The kids started cheering Obama’s name when he appeared on TV. The worst incident was when the kids started waving some small American flags we gave them and called them the “Obama Flag.” My wife and I corrected the kids quickly and are trying to explain to them that Obama is not a good president. We tried to deprogram them also by showing them photos of and books about Ronald Reagan.

I’m not going to mention the name of the day care center yet because we spoke with the director who said that this kind of conduct by employees who have contact with the children is unacceptable. The guilty employee was identified. That employee has not been fired but advised that further such conduct is inappropriate. We hope this action resolves the problem

My concern now is what might be going on that we don’t know about. Are kids in these day care centers, or even in the schools, being programmed and told not to discuss it with their parents?
