Just to mess a little bit with the Manassas News & Messenger, I’m thinking of inviting Gaudencio Fernandez to participate in a press conference with me and thus rock Jonathan Hunley’s world a little bit.

I think you are looking for ways to stir up trouble. Hate is one of those things that must keep getting fueled if the fire is going to continue.
David, you REALLY think those billboard signs reflect “hate”???
Greg, why waste your valuable time messing with a writer for a dying medium, especially when it involves giving press for a public nusiance like Mr. Fernandez? I believe it was Napoleon who said something to the effect of “When your opponent is destroying himself, do not interfere”. Better to use the time to rally the conservative base for what promises to be a brawl in 2010. These elections would be entertaining if the stakes weren’t so high.
Publicity is a lot like sex, only more addictive. To those who use it only to aggrandize their own egos, there’s no “bad” publiciity (or sex). Only good and better.
