Bob Spoke about the reasons why he introduced HB 10 which will prevent the federal government from mandating that Virginians enter into a contract with an insurance company against their will, and under penalty of fines and possibly jail time if they don’t comply.

Senator Colgan told us yesterday that he would co-patron HB10.

What did he tell you about E-verify, Dave? That it would hurt Nicaraguans displaced by a storm?

The guy is a joke. Unfortunately, the joke has been on Prince William County for a long time.

Kevin C: I HOPE Bob FitzSimmonds doesn’t mind be quoting him (this is from a letter to the editor he wrote to the Potomac News):

Sen. Charles J. “Chuck” Colgan, D-Manassas, and I engaged in a spirited debate prior to his reelection last November. The issues of illegal immigration and gas taxes loomed very large.

On Oct. 26, Colgan published “Colgan’s Straight Talk” on his campaign Web site. In it he said that he was clearing the “innuendo, misinformation and allegations. Here is where I stand!” A series of bullet points followed. The first two read:

    • I do NOT SUPPORT any increase in the gas tax

    • I do NOT SUPPORT allowing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants.

After his successful reelection in November, Colgan returned to the Senate this winter and got opportunities to address both of these issues. Already this year, Colgan voted for SB 652 allowing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants and SB 713, which will increase the gas tax five cents over the next five years.

Kevin C: SO MUCH for ANYTHING Colgan says!

One thing I know FOR SURE about Colgan is, he CANNOT be TRUSTED!!!!

He ABSOLUTELT EPITOMIZES the politician who will say ANYTHING to get elected!!!
