How is Manassas and PWC doing with the illegals these days? I moved away fifteen months ago partly because on the illegal presence, partly because of local politics.
Anyway, what about the illegal presence these days, are there still lots of them in Manassas and PWC schools? They are here, in central VA, just not as many.

Solve - I think a case can be made that politicians create far more problems then they solve.

Funding problems provide a way to channel funds to consultants/experts who then donate some of these funds (our taxes) back to the politicians.

The true horror is that No One is accountable. We’re blaming the Feds BUT it is the unethical, greedy, self serving corporate denizens who abuse the law and hire the illegals. Not to mention many of our friends and neighbors “llooking for a deal”. Fine them, jail them, bankrupt them for hiring/employing illegals and our nation will change for the better. Continue to allow businesses (small and large) to hire illegals and we’ll continue going down the tube.

I know that. We have Outsourced jobs, and In sourced additional labor to drive down wages while ignoring and/or not enforcing our labor laws when citizens are involved.

Bringing in millions of immigrants and allowing millions of illegals to enter the Country when we are experiencing a real unemployment rate of 17% is insane. And the liberals and other groups friendly to illegals, ignore and deny that our schools are crowded and in financial difficulties, that our emergency rooms in our hospital are crowded and in financial difficulties, and that our labor and workers compensation laws are continually being violated. Then we can add to these costs the cost of their crimes - even if one believes their rate of crime is lower than the rate of crime for the general population. Total these costs and any sane person can see that these costs translate into higher taxes for the citizens. And, all it would take to halt the invasion of illegals would be to regain control of our borders. A goal that has been out of reach of every Administration since, at least, Carter’s Administration.

As far as I am concerned, anyone who supports amnesty for illegals is committing treason, and these traitors should be charged, tried, and if found guilty, serve their time in prisons with large populations of illegals.

What we really need to look at as well is what is being done legally. The United States has had zero net job growth since 2000, yet we have imported 10 million permanent immigrants in the same period. Or more to the point, all jobs created from 2000 onward have disappeared. We not only have imported 10 million permanent immigrants in this time, we have allowed 12-20 million illegal immigrants to remain in the US and we are granting over 100,000 work permits a month.

Think about it.

My heart bleeds for the illegals!

Maybe the Adm. could develop a program whereby they fire a certain percentage of workers who are citizens and then proceed to hire illegals to replace these fired citizens. This Replacement of fired Citizen Workers with Illegal Workers could be implemented in all our metro Labor Markets. Of course, tax collection may suffer since illegals know how to avoid taxes. Illegals also transfer a considerable amount of their earnings to their Country of origin - helps with our balance of payments. But what the heck, with our bloated national deficit and debt, another small increase will not be noticed.

Not sure this action will contribute to holding on to the illegals as a voting block, but at least it is a start!
