Jay O'Brien has always helped himself, and no one else...
He voted for HB 3202, retroactive fees, and other unconstitutional disgusting legislation.
He's no more a Tea Party person than my liberal uncle in Minn.

Look out for better Constitutional Candidates lining up!

Anyone who spanks Barker is a friend of mine. O'Brien may be new to the Tea Party, but he ain't no RINO. He's a conservative through and through, you can check his voting record.

As long as he keeps a good distance from the Tom Davis crowd, he'll be fine.

Let's not go around associating the tea party movement with republicans. Both R's and D's are just as guilty for the state of affairs in this country. Just because R's aren't in power now does not mean they have reformed their ways and seen the light. Our cities and communities were devastated by illegal immigration and corporate greed and malfeasance under the R's watch. The D's just took it to new levels. The tea party needs to rid itself of ALL RINO's if it wants to be taken seriously by me. In fact as far as I am concerned, until 90% of all incumbents are voted out then there will never be chance for real change. Remember that next time you pull the lever for Wolf...

If O'Brien had to move, I'm sure he would do it well in advance and actually move rather than fake a thin veneer of having relocated.

Since O'Brien and Barker live in the same precinct, if it got drawn out of the district BOTH would have to move in order to run.

So Marsden is a carpetbagger for moving into the district he recently won, but for considering a move to remain in the 39th, Jay O'Brien is dedicated and loyal? I'm not taking away from the service he provided his constituents while serving as a state senator, but to hold some candidates accountable for their tactics and not others is folly.

Re-districting. The 39th will have to grow. South of Old Bridge Road down Ridgefield Road lies the gateway to the heavily Democratic precincts of Dale City.

Jay's other problem from two years ago was they got started late and switched campaign managers mid-stream. I don't think Jay thought Barker could beat him and didn't realize it until it was too late. This year, he should learn from his mistake. He was a great senator and has embraced the tea party movement which is great to see. I just hope he stays focused this time.
