Looks like a couple of more illegals kidnapped an 11 year old girl from a park and raped her at their apartment in Maryland. The girl was able to lead police back to their place.

those stories about illegals suing are pretty blood boiling, seems to be happening alot. I think mostly in CA, AZ and those places where they congregate the most. I hear alot of them are coming forth in AZ because of Sheriff Joe (who is my hero by the way for doing the right thing and rounding up vermin illegals)

until the Government actually starts supporting bagging and tagging these invaders we’ll see more of these lawsuits.

ditto what Greg said…dont go there,

you gotta be totally right, the police get the right to catch and release…you dont.

unless you are 200 percent sure, i.e. you see someone shooting someone (with a real gun) and running away and shooting other people or something crazy like that I wouldnt even think of jumping into the fray..havent heard of it being used much, it’s just too freakin’ dangerous these days to do it.

I’m not a lawyer, but I understand that in Virginia a person may perform a citizen’s arrest for a “breach of the peace” or a felony that is committed in your presence. You’re required to turn over arrestees to law enforcement, and there may be a limit (perhaps an hour) on the time you can detain someone until you turn them over to the police.

If you do this, you are subject to all the legal liabilities and procedural requirements that police face, only you don’t have the shield of the state like they do. False imprisonment is a felony itself, so if you get it wrong, you’re the one going to jail.

Tread very cautiously in these waters. They’re fraught with peril.

Can anyone answer my question from a legal standpoint? If a person is knowingly employing illegals, or harboring them in any way it is a felony. Can we arrest that person on a citizens arrest since it is a federal felony?

I can think of at least two child sexual assaults/rapes within a mile and a half from me - a 1 1/2 year old baby girl (Lomond Drive) and a 9 year old girl (down in the Amherst Drive area). Both were committed by illegal aliens living in illegal alien boarding houses. Last year the local paper was chock full of rape and sexual assaults. It was like an epidemic. Only a few of the perpetrators were American. However, all of the perpetrators are the lowest form of pond scum.

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization or local government) commits a federal felony when he:

* encourages that alien to remain in the U.S., by referring him to an employer, by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or
* knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.

Correct me if I am wrong, but since it is a felony, we can make a citizen’s arrest?

AnonII, are you trying to imply that child rape has only been reported in the local press when the perpetrator is hispanic? Or when the perpetrator is an illegal alien, although the paper doesn’t identify the suspects as such these days?

In the past several years I recall at least four of these incidents involving children as young as nine years old, and every one involved an illegal alien. I would seriously doubt there are additional cases involving other persons that the News & Messenger decided not to report on, or the police decided not to inform the public about.
