However, it does not say what Bolognese is FOR, especially if it means that he is FOR popular measures supported by Gov. McDonnell (who has a high approval rating). Maybe McDonnell should be in an ad. On a somewhat related subject, are there any debates scheduled, or have there been any debates between the 41st District candidates? Bolognese came to Filler-Corn's congregation to debate Marsden during last fall's election, so it would be ironic (and embarassing) if Filler-Corn ducked debates now. I like to learn from other producers, especially when their style is a lot different than mine. This one seemed to take some risks and I wasn't sure whether they worked or not. Getting the impressions of others on this is helpful the next time I script a commercial and might be interested in going in this direction. One could conclude by inference, that he's a fiscal conservative but his video doesn't say a lot (nothing in fact) about his position on anything. If I were in the 41st District, I'd kinda like to know his position on issues that affect me and how he would support my views and needs, e.g., the budget (Va) transportation, education, and job creation. I hope he wins; we need another Republican in the HOD, but I certainly think a campaign video oriented toward the issues that affect his District and the state of Virginia would have been more effective.
