you must be so devoid of intelligence that you are actually going to argue that it is ok to murder an illegal alien, because you did just say that they are not guaranteed anything…and by anything you specifically mentioned life. whether or not you choose to admit it, illegals are guaranteed due process in ins hearings, especially in feet dry cases.

WRONG !!!

DUE PROCESS
The idea that laws and legal proceedings must be fair. The Constitution guarantees that the government cannot take away a person’s basic rights to ‘life, liberty or property, without due process of law.’

The CONSTITUTION doesn’t guarantee ILLEGALS anything !!!

ILLEGAL immirants should have NO rights under OUR U.S. Constitution !!!!

Greg and others,

I want to have a landscaping company come to my home, to mow lawn weekly, etc. How do I make sure that they hire legal workers only? I have contacted one company and told them this is important to me, but what kind of verification tools do I have?

Kris

When they show up for work, yell out "La Migre" and see who runs. :)

Virginia’s General Assembly has become the first state legislature to approve a measure that would block any federal efforts to institute health care reform.

The legislation passed, 80-17, Wednesday in the House of Delegates, after having already made it through the Senate. The bill now heads to the desk of Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell, who has promised to sign it, The Associated Press reported.

Way to go Virginia! Let’s hope many more states follow the example.

"Prince William County has turned over more than 2,000 suspected
illegal immigrants to the federal government since July 2007,
according to the county jail superintendent."
  Washington Examiner
  (3-11-2007)

Of course it is a regional detention center and not a "county jail"
- suspect City of Manassas numbers are included in the 2,000.
Anyway, a decent start on a huge problem.

The wet foot, dry foot policy is the name given to a consequence of the 1995 revision of the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966 that essentially says that anyone who fled Cuba and got into the United States would be allowed to pursue residency a year later.

And as a result, 99% of Miami's population is Cuban. It is difficult to find an English as a first language person in the city. Pretty soon, it will be the same way in the entire country.

Does anyone know what the construction is that is happening at the bridge on Lomond Drive near Lomond South? There has been a bunch of trees cleared out of there and a lot of orange tape going up.

At one time, a road from Godwin Dr. and Rt. 234 was supposed to continue on to somewhere in the Loch Lomand area (past that monstrosity barn that has been held up by braces close to 35 years.) It has been on hold. Maybe the county or VDOT is finally going to build it.

The wet foot, dry foot policy is the name given to a consequence of the 1995 revision of the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966 that essentially says that anyone who fled Cuba and got into the United States would be allowed to pursue residency a year later. After talks with the Cuban government, the Clinton administration came to an agreement with Cuba that it would stop admitting people found at sea.

Since then, in what has become known as the "wet foot, dry foot" policy, any Cuban caught on the waters between the two nations (i.e., with "wet feet") would summarily be sent home or to a third country. One who makes it to shore ("dry feet") gets a chance to remain in the United States, and later would qualify for expedited "legal permanent resident" status and U.S. citizenship. All the while eligible for an array of welfare services made possible by the U.S. taxpayer.

In the spring of 1980, Castro opened the west of Havana port of Mariel, and allowed foreign boats to take Cubans from the island. Castro emptied the country's jails and mental hospitals to rid the island of "undesirables" and "counterrevolutionaries"—gays, the insane, drug addicts and criminals.
The exodus ended in September 1980, after a U.S. Coast Guard and Naval blockade stopped the inflow of boats. But during the six months that the Mariel port was open, about 125,000 Cubans arrived in Miami.

"This "wet foot-dry foot" act has done nothing but encourage Cubans to attempt illegal entry into the United States. Even after 9-11, when we clamped down on all people trying to penetrate our borders, illegally or under false pretenses, we still allow Cubans to enter illegally.
The "wet foot-dry foot" act is sending a dangerous message to the Cuban people. We are telling Cubans, "if you can sneak past our Coast Guard and other law enforcement personnel, you can stay." That is not immigration. That is illegal entry."

Abolition of the special preferences of the Cuban Adjustment Act.

Revocation of status and benefits to 'refugees' who travel back-and-forth to their native countries.

I am sending this woman MONEY $$$$$.

Much like Rush had "Operation Chaos", this woman needs our help!

Kesha Rogers WON the Democratic Party primary as the nominee for TX-22.

She is calling for the IMPEACHMENT of Obama among other things.

Her website was up last night; Now it is "NOT FOUND".

They are worried.

If they're worried, it's a good thing.

I think Lyndon LaRouche is a complete nutcase, but anyone who starts asking tough questions of the Obama Admin has my support. The more we can help unwind the Dem party and cause dissent, the better.

First, note:
They've hacked her website in under 24 hrs!

Here's the statement from the Lyndon LaRouche HQ:

FYI -- Kesha is a black female LaRouche Democrat !!

Karla H:
I emigrated to the USA in 1994 so I'm not that up to date on what's happening aside from what I chat with my parents about.

Apparently my old nemesis from my advocacy days in Toronto,
Jack Layton is causing all kinds of mayhem now that he's at the Federal level. He and his partner, Olivia Chow, are true watermelons (Green on the Outside, Red on the Inside). Note he's big on the climate change scam.

http://www.ndp.ca/jacklayton

As far as the "old" Canada, it still exists in the 705/905 belt.
It's still there. My parents fled the city and now reside in the "Sports Capital of the Kawarthas", where the community comes together to find local solutions. People were losing their jobs; social assistance was on the rise -- so much that the little island they live on was nicknamed "welfare island", drugs were becoming a problem with the youngster, etc so something had to change.

The banks were turning people down, so the little community gathered together and started up their own credit union. This is not a wealthy community, in fact, its quite poor.

They started community-based funding out of their own pooled money in the CU and started hiring the local teens with good paying jobs to help them build job skills and opportunities. The CU trained them as tellers, the local bakery that started up hired; and so on.
It's taking on a life of its own; there is now talk of building a small hotel on the waterfront and running a hockey camp so that the tourist income continues into the winter.

The local school board also has many other flexible options for parents. In rural Ontario, correspondence courses have always been an option, and the school district has expanded options for home
schoolers. My daughter is enrolled as a homeschooling student through the Kawartha school board; she loves it. All of her lessons are online, she has a great relationship with her teachers who give her lots of individual attention, and she can get "help" either by e-mail or telephone or by a bulletin board chat room they set up for the kids.

I was given an entire year in a box, including textbooks, workbooks, DVDS and an online learning account.

She studies English (reading and writing/composition), French, Math, Science, Social Studies (history/geography), Music and Art. We also are studying music theory and Latin at home independently.

As far as math goes, GMS refused to allow her to take advanced math (the whole math program here is a SCAM). In the correspondence program, the kids can advance at their own pace.
She finished pre-algebra by Christmas (starting in Oct) (GMS had her on track to take pre-algebra NEXT year), has started Algebra I and will take Alebgra II/Trig next year ...as an eight grader.

GMS didn't want her to "struggle", but I guess with a 97.3% average, she's doing okay.

Our costs? 0$. You heard me. ZERO dollars. My parents are her "sponsors" through their property taxes there. We go back and forth between Ont & VA; Paige takes her school -in-a-box with her without missing a beat. Snow days? Didn't slow us down !!

For supplemental math, I asked my cousin-in-law who is a school administrator in a truly "World Class" school district (she has on the wall in her office a map with pins showing all the top-tier world universities she has gotten her kids into on FULL scholarship - Cambridge, Oxford, MIT, Berkeley.....not to mention top notch Canadian schools... and her school district is in a very poor part of the province without nearly as much money or advantages as PWCSB!)

Remember, you can "buy" online math from PWCSB for $450. For one class.

So, she recommended an online math program that was specifically developed for minority students as one of the "things that work" educational clearing house (that PWCSB should look into, but that's another issue).

It the I can Learn system.

www.icanlearnonline.com.

Now, remember .... PWCSB will charge you $450 for ONE course.

I purchased a one year subscription to I CAN LEARN.
I purchased the Math Fundamentals (equivalent to reg Gr 7 math in PWC), Pre-Algebra, Algebra I and Algebra II text/workbooks.
My total bill for 4 textbooks and a subscription for one year was

>>>>>> $369.90

Karla H:
Your "handle" brings chills down my spine. I lived in the Guild and I knew Paul Bernado. Those are NOT memories I wish to revisit.

And, even more frightening, the former CO of CFB Trenton who is charged (so far, more may be coming), with a double murder/sexual assault, may have KNOWN and socialized with Paul Bernado. It's really bringing up some bad, bad memories. Please change your nickname !!

Indoctrinating Britons to condemn their own national identity and history. Sound familiar?
