Fascinating

There’s a buzz out there that the folks shouting slurs at elected officials during yesterday’s TEA Party events at the Capitol may have actually been made by SEIU members trying to manufacture controversy and cast the TEA Party movement in a negative light.  So far I’ve seen no evidence that this was the case, but behind the scenes a lot of folks seem to be scurrying around trying to nail this down.  What comes out in the next 24 hours on this might be rather interesting.

Something about those reports seemed awfully strange, especially the claims by some members of the Congressional Black Caucus that protesters had been arrested, claims that the Capitol Police couldn’t substantiate.  There’s more here than meets the mainstream media eye, folks.

Stay tuned…

UPDATE:  Lo and behold, the attacks didn’t happen.  Of course the mainstream media, which jumped all over this story before it was proven false by people outside of the mainstream media has entirely ignored the rest of the story.  So much for the “watchdogs” that are supposed to be keeping our government honest with the citizenry.

So far, there has been no proof other than the claims made by folks who are well known for making up attacks on themselves. I don’t believe it until I see or hear some sort of real proof.

To whom are you referring to here? I don’t understand.

Idiots on both sides making the case for opponets:

    - On the right - spitting on people, racial slurs and crude signs.

    - On the left - waving far more Mexican flags than American ones
    at pro- immigration rallies.

I would not be surprised if the leftists planted some agents provocateurs at Tea Party rallies to generate “racial slur” headlines. But let’s just say that did not happen. The people who would have yelled these slurs are nut cases and do not represent the vast number of concerned citizens out there. The most ironic part is that the poor (disproportionately minorities) will be the most adversely affected by this latest government expansion, just like they have been by other big government programs, such as with educational bureaucracies and environmental programs.

Also left unsaid is how many left wing rallies, particularly the “anti-war” marches, were known for their racial epithets against Jews and even various black officials (particularly Condoleezza Rice). Alas, the drive-by media never gave all that a lot of attention.

Just let me say for the record that racial slurs are completely uncalled for, and I don’t care who says them.

Maybe you missed this - but I didn’t. Roy Beck of NumbersUSA was at the march, speaking on behalf of the 25 million un- & under employed US workers. “Mimes” and people waving SEIU signs constantly tried to drown him out and keep him from speaking. SEIU = FACIST brown-shirts.

Very odd. All I hear in this video is “boo” and “kill the bill”. Claim was made that a “spitter” was arrested, yet the capitol police say NO arrests were made.

The Black Only Caucus playing the race card? How shocking!

If you want to know what a lefist is up to - just listen to what he accuses you of.

    Greg,

You’re right, I never was clear about who was who. Ann Coulter’s “Guilty” is still in my mind with all the contrived “abuses” suffered by liberals. I don’t believe the epithets were yelled, and I don’t believe anyone was spat upon. However, if someone called Barney’s Frank anything, I would have to support it completely. He really is one giant nostril.

If these invaders (illegals) love Mexico so much, why don’t they return to it. Isn’t it a paradise?

“Numerous news media outlets have reported that certain members of the CBC were insulted with racial epithets during the course of protesting yesterday. The specific accusation most often repeated is that when Andre Carson (D-IN) and John Lewis (D-Ga) left the Cannon House Office Building yesterday, they were met with a crowd that chanted the “n-word” at them repeatedly …
It turns out, it’s not just that there’s a lack of evidence that this ever happened, there’s actually video evidence of the scene in question which absolutely proves that Carson and Lewis are full of crap:”

I was at the rally and didn’t see anybody spitting on anyone and didn’t hear any slurs shouted at the politicians. In fact the police I saw were talking with the protesters and were smiling at times. It was a good turnout for 24 hours notice. But it looks like it wasn’t enough.

I did see some libs on bicycles pestering some of the protesters with questions about FICA taxes. I just assumed they were elitists who thought it would be big fun to debate regular folks about subjects that had nothing to do with the health care bill.

Lets just hope the Judicial Branch does its job and stops this bill.

It has already “come out.” Despite the presence of numerous news media cameras, none of the alleged incidents were caught on tape. In fact, the news footage shows that none of it happened at all:

When we were at the big 9-12 rally at the Capitol, SEIU bused in about big buses of thugs to mingle in the crowd and try and stir the pot. They brought pre-printed signs, etc. When we pointed them out to some veterans, they quickly surrounded them and made them leave, but not before some of the LSM had quoted them as “typical” Tea Party activists.

I have read on several other blogs that SEIU again bused in professional agitators to the protest on the weekend, again, with professionally printed signs, and when they were confronted and “outed” as SEIU thugs, they left.

The scenarios described by other Tea Party activists at the weekend protest fit with what I experienced first-hand at 9-12.

So I believe that if any racial slurs were launched or other inappropriate behavior, it was from the paid opposition to discredit the Tea Party. And, guess what? Without any supporting video, the LSM rushes to gush that this is “typical” Tea Party behavior.

We have to ignore them, keep our heads down, and keep fighting.

So Joe Biden is caught by an open mic telling Obama “this is a big f***ing deal”! about the health care law. Why was it again that we didn’t want Palin? Oh, I remember, she’d be a heartbeat away from the Presidency.

Going back to inauguration night 2009 - as Obama exited one Ball after another, TV footage showed him repeating the words “Let’s go change America”

All I heard him say was “Let’s go screw with America,”

“As Charles Krauthammer has just mentioned on Fox News…

With Franklin Delano Roosevelt, we had the New Deal.
With Harry S. Truman, it was the Fair Deal.

And today, by Barack Hussein Obama, we have been issued the Big F’ing Deal.

“You can’t make this stuff up.” said Krauthammer.”

biggest media event of the week-end and not one single frame of this actually taking place. All rumors and “it was reported”, but never proven…. same ol tactics. Change the subject from the fact that this entire health care reform bill is UN-Constitutional. Passed by using the best of the Chicago gangland tactics of threats, bribes, and arm twisting. The only part of this that was bi-partison was the opposition to this bill.

The interesting thing about the comparison of today’s Tea Party vs. historical:

    1) The colonial settlers who aligned themselves with the British to keep “the status quo” were conservative not wanting change.

    2) The protagonists who went against British rule, who didn’t want taxation without representation were radicals of their time. Liberal thinkers outside the box to defeat an empire to protect their liberties.
