Manassas Tea Party June 25th

By Greg L | 16 June 2010 | Manassas City | 9 Comments

Manassas will no longer be absent from the rolls of the Tea Party movement, and their inaugural event promises to be a blockbuster.  On June 25th, Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, Delegate Bob Marshall, Virginia Tea Party Patriots leader Jaime Radke, Ben Marchi from Americans For Prosperity and Sonnie Johnson of the Fredrick Douglas Foundation will present a program that is not only going to set the standard for Tea Party events in Virginia, but really put the “party” into Tea Party at the Harris Pavillion in Old Town Manassas.  This is an event not to be missed.

Come by and hear some great speakers, and while you’re there enjoy some of the tremendous restaurants in Old Town.  Get your Gadsen flags, your patriotic T-Shirts, arm yourself with a solid understanding of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, and get in the battle to restore our country!

From what I’ve seen at other Tea Party events, it wouldn’t take much to “set the standard for Tea Party events in Virginia.” I’ve had more exciting high school history teachers than the slugs who have spoken at the McCoart Bldg events.

Somebody needs to shoot K.G. (I didn’t say that, did I?) an e-mail so she can announce this event in the local fishwrap.

Y’all have a great time! I’m outta town that day.

I hope Ken doesn’t bring Karl Rove.

The event does officially start at 7 but getting there at 6:30 is recommended. There should be a pretty healthy throng in attendance.

Seems inappropriate for the Commonwealth’s AG to attend a tea party.

    Jus my opinion.
