Jim Moran: It’s An Amnesty

By Greg L | 27 June 2010 | Illegal Aliens, US Congress | 13 Comments

Well, at least I have to honor the guy’s honesty. This is from an email I got Saturday from a friend who had a chance to catch up with Congressman Jim Moran over the weekend:

I ran into Rep. Moran at the Del Ray Music Festival today.  I was sweaty and miserable from the oppressive heat, and he came up to shake my hand and I told him I’d heard parts of his speech to a crowd of illegal aliens in Culmore, promising them amnesty.  I told him his job was to represent the citizens of Virginia first, and not illegal aliens.  I told him he needed to stop worrying about them being treated like second class citizens, because they are not citizens AT ALL and cannot demand citizens’ rights.  He turned to his aide (apparently he’d brought some staff to the festival) and said, “This is one of the people we’ve been hearing from about the amnesty lately.”

You notice Moran didn’t use the euphemism “Comprehensive Immigration Reform?”  No, he regards the current proposals floating around Congress on this subject “the amnesty.”  That’s what it is, folks and the Democrats know it.  This is all about amnesty for lawbreakers, as if we haven’t any experience with that approach before.

We tried amnesty in 1986 with two million illegal aliens, saw a tremendous amount of fraud and abuse with that program, then let Congress pass another six amnesties for folks left out of the first one, and now we’ve got something like twelve to twenty million illegal aliens unlawfully residing in the United States.  Not what you’d call a patricularly effective public policy test, by any means.  Yet does Jim Moran have any interest in finally enforcing our laws?  Apparently not — he’s busy defending “the amnesty” he wants to ram through.

We should keep him and his buddy Gerry Connolly busy trying to defend such atrocity, as the constituent feedback apparently is having some effect.  Your calls are working.  Keep them up.

Of course, he’s going to push it. He needs the votes.

Can Moran be indicted for aiding and abetting criminal invaders?

Moran also needs to be reminded that failure to register with the Selective Service is a felony for ANY male living in the US who is between the ages of 18 and 26.

Illegal alien males who fail to register can be easily verified as the SSS database is probably one of the most accurate and current databases owned and maintained by the federal government.

Moran needs to be reminded that if this felony by an illegal alien male is overlooked during the proposed amensty process, this can be perceived as discrimination against American cititzens and perhaps to “level the playing field,” young American citizen males should refuse to register when their high schools remind them of their legal obligation.

I loathe the fact that Ronald Reagan set the precedent for this.

    Let’s make this Nation wide.

Of all the elected officials - let’s restrict it to U. S. Senators, U. S. Representatives and Governors at this point - name one that represent citizens over the illegals?

One might be - Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, California

James P. Moron would wear a dress to a campaign rally if he
thought it would get votes. Oops! Don’t want to give him any
    ideas.

I loathe the fact that Ronald Reagan set the precedent for this.

Reagan honestly believed that the laws against hiring illegals would be enforced. He faile to realize that the Chamber of Commerce Republican crowd didn’t/doesn’t want that…and the rest of us never challenge THEM in public. John “comprehensive immigration solution” McCain is now saying that the governor of Arizona has her facts wrong. Yeah, right….and he’s figured this out from Washington DC?????

Folks, go to retirejimmoran.com and get your free bumper sticker. Jim Moran and all the rest, regardless of party, need to be sent packing. The rule of law must be enforced.

Wow! I hate to follow that last comment . . .

But I will say folks in Moran’s Congressional District really need to look beyond their federal government jobs and welfare benefits. The Nation suffers because of clowns (crooked clowns at that) like Moran. We all live so close to DC that we can hear the huge sucking sound emanating from Congress that is sucking the life out of America.

The “lost populations” in Barney Frank’s district, Maxine Water’s district, or Speaker Pelosi’s district are simply beyond the pale. However, Virginia can do better and yes, even Arlington can do better. (Is there still a US citizen majority in Arlington or have the illegals reached 51%?)

Moran is a liar and a crook. Get rid of him. He is only entertaining when he is salivating over seizing Pelosi’s position. May he go the way of Gerry “Greasy” Connelly in November.

Perhaps our Virginia Commonwealth Attorney General should monitor these dirtbags for fraud and abuse of the public trust. . . There are so many possibilities for indictment with such politicians. The FBI also monitors dirty politicians and appreciates tips. . .

And today (1 JUL) the President said:

The estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the country, Obama said, “make a mockery of those who go through the process legally.”
