I heard that the underprivlege Fitsimmonds announced Monday evening he was going to Run for Colgans seat.

What a dope. He needs to keep his high paying job w/McQuigg.
Course they probably will try to hold on to both jobs.

Sure are going to have alot of Battles in the couple years.

BTW, I am a progressive right of center democrat that if someone paid me to vote for bozo woman, I would lauf in their face. I voted for miller.

Wow. He represents only half of the people who can vote here. The other half cant vote. I shure hopes he sits at the Rt. 28 light to get on Liberia during rush hour and questions the other south side republicans on why we up here need the coalfields pkway? When is he gonna bring home the bacon like colgan does or is he into looking at his political carear?

Jackson does look strong for whatever his next race is. He does a good job reaching out to folks in his district and tries to listen to them. He is an up an comer in the House, but would make a great conservative addition to the Senate. His potential Republican opponent Bob Fitszimmons has run and lost the general election a couple of times already.

Would love to see Bob run for a House seat or if a new district opens for Senate. Last night’s event shows that Jackson continues to be a powerhouse locally. He is very electable to the Senate!

I am going to err to the side that Jackson, in his fond “love” of fundraising, may just have decided to go with an Annual Ice Cream Social, and raise funds in an incremental way. Had to miss this year, but definitely a home run having the Governor here.

Good point about redistricting - only thing on record so far is the PWC Magisterial Districts may simply have their lines shifted to balance the population across all seven to around 57,000 each. Of course, the GA and even Federal lines are in the category of “who knows”.
