We need to clone Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the law enforcement hero of Arizona, and provide employment in Virginia. Sheriff Joe’s approach to pro-active law enforcement is a success. Indeed, he is so successful that Obama is launching DOJ assets to harrass him. Our Virginia LEOs need to step up like Sheriff Joe. I’m tired of driving past 7-11s crawling with illegals. Police Chief Dean needs to protect and defend citizens and stop hiding behind excuses. American citizens are dying because illegal aliens continue to run free in Prince William County and Virginia. In November, American voters are going to hammer the Democraps for their failure to defend American sovereignty at the border and elsewhere - besides the Democraps’ destruction of our economy. Virginians need to consider the impact of Virginian politicians on local law enforcement and make the connection that poor LEO performance regarding the illegal alien threat to our families - also reflects on leftwing and gutless politicians.

And even the requirement to use E-Verify applies only to federal contractors, not state contractors. The state’s version of E-Verify will only apply to state agencies, and does not kick in until 2012.

So the next time ole Scot Lingamfelter or Jackson Miller start touting their record on the illegal immigration thing, ask them why they are not re-introducing a bill that would require use of E-Verify by every employer in the state. When they give you that excuse “The Senate will kill it,” tell them to keep introducing it and forcing the senators to vote against it. Eventually, the constituents of those traitorous bastards will vote them out of office.

There is no requirement in Virginia to use E-Verify (other than government contractors). Nor can an employer be held accountable if the documents provided at the time of hire are fake.

Further, there is no requirement that law enforcement be required to check legal status at arrest. It is voluntary in Virginia. Though McDonnell is talking about signing up the state police for 287(g).

These “exceptions” don’t make Virginia an official sanctuary state, but its the next best thing for illegals

Thirty-eight percent (about 21,000) had between 2 and 5 arrests, 32 percent (about 18,000) had between 6 and 10 arrests, and 26 percent (about 15,000) had 11 or more arrests.” ” They were arrested for a total of about 700,000 criminal offenses, averaging about 13 offenses per illegal alien. One arrest incident may include multiple offenses, a fact that explains why there are nearly one and half times more offenses than arrests. Almost all of these illegal aliens were arrested for more than 1 offense. Slightly more than half of the 55,322 illegal aliens had between 2 and 10 offenses.”

“I really want to learn exactly which companies these are. The public should know who is breaking the law by unlawfully employing dangerous criminal illegal aliens while so many legal workers go without jobs.”

Since hiring illegal aliens is against state law (VA Code Section 40.1-11.1) to employ anyone who cannot produce documents showing that they are authorized to be employed in the US. The person responsible for investigating violations of state law in this County is the Chief of Police. So don’t hold your breath, Greg. Ole Chuckles wanted to make this a sanctuary county, remember? You think he’s going to lift a finger to make it safer for legitimate residents? I don’t think so.

Maybe if the Republicans could get someone elected as Commonwealth Attorney, he/she could interest the Sheriff in those types of investigations. Of course, the Republicans haven’t run anyone for CA in this County since Nixon was popular.

Employers are not required to check to verify that submitted documents for employment are fraudulent (ssn numbers etc.) All they have to do is claim ignorance and to state that they had no reason to believe the documents were fraudulent. An easy out for any employer not using E-verify.

Another issue I have not heard argued with respect to this “individual”.
HOW DID HE GET A DRIVERS LICENSE?
If he had a license, was he registered to vote?
If he voted……………..

Where does this end? He is illegal, he has NO US RIGHTS! He is NOT an American. I am tired of the politically correct crowd.

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii) goes on to state, “Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens - It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection in any place, including any building or means of transportation, any alien who is in the United States in violation of law. HARBORING MEANS ANY CONDUCT THAT TENDS TO SUBSTANTIALLY FACILITATE AN ALIEN TO REMAIN IN THE U.S. ILLEGALLY. The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally but has since lost his legal status.

I would assume that employing an illegal is harboring, since that provides funds for them to stay. Go after the employers who hire them, and the landlords that rent to them, the mortgage companies that sell them homes. We have to put a stop to this insanity!
