I Don’t Get It

By Greg L | 22 October 2010 | Prince William County | 7 Comments

Interesting.  Gainesville School Board Representative Don “My Constituents Should Grow Up” Richardson appointed Alanna Almeda to the Special Education Advisory Committee for Prince William County Schools.  Perhaps there was some compelling reason for this selection, such as the only other alternative available was John Steinbach, in which case this was the superior choice.  I kinda doubt that was the case, however, making this pick is just plain puzzling.  Why would a self-professed Republican be picking someone who devotes so much energy defending the unlawful presence of illegal aliens in the county, above all others, to help develop policy for our school system?

Because he’s a RINO? As in “my constituents should grow up”?

Because he is a true republican. Not a conservative patriot - a republican.

Remember, we became overrun with illegals under republican dominance in our government.

Its true, the left has set the table with our silverware and food - but the republicans held the door open.

He didn’t make any friends in Westgate and Sudley when he wanted to shove the elementary school down our throats.

We should make him sit in traffic on Lomond Drive…level of service, Failure.

It is time to start sourcing and supporting candidates for the school board who are actually provide some oversight of the Admin and ensure that taxpayer dollars are being spent wisely (what a concept) and that parents are invited back into the process. This won’t happen overnight. I have approached two people who I felt would be outstanding candidates for school board, and both declined.

It is my understanding that Don got on the school board initially as an appointment and not through election.

If you’re unhappy about the representation he is providing, NOW is the time to find a replacement candidate who will reflect the will of the constituents, and not the NEA, Admin and teacher’s union.

    Just sayin’.

I think Ms. Almeda has some unique qualifications for this particularly specific appointment that should be tapped. I’m sure she’s delighted to be tapped by Mr. Richardson.

Almeda is hyper pro-illegal. I didnt realize that Duecaster had turned to the other side. Richardson is no surprise–how do you spell R-I-N-O?
