Day Two: Connolly Still Refuses To Disclose Vote
By Greg L | 18 November 2010 | Gerry Connolly | 6 Comments
Did Gerry Connolly vote for Nancy Pelosi to be House Minority Leader? He still won’t tell his constituents!
See if you can get him to tell you by contacting him at his DC office at 202-225-1492, his Fairfax office at 703-256-3071 or his Prince William office at 703-670-4989. If you don’t get an answer at one, you might want to try the others.

Very interesting that Congressman Connolly will not say how he votes. He must be ashamed of what he did. Very different way of acting than what he said during campaign, but that is not much surprising. How very soviet of him.
Gerry is a very dirty boy…
So much for transparency. Of course, based on his history, why wouldn’t he vote for Ma’am Pelosi? I think we can figure this out ourselves.
If he won’t answer that question perhaps he could answer why democrats continue to have secret votes when they conduct business but they do not support the secret ballot for the American worker?
“Earlier in this Congress, 228 House Democrats voted to expose workers’ votes in union organizing elections to everyone – their employers, their co-workers, and union bosses. Today, those very same Members are enjoying secret ballot rights that Americans have come to take for granted in a hotly contested race for a powerful Committee chairmanship. What message does this send to workers across our country?

I’m not surprised he won’t disclose his vote on Pelosi; he doesn’t respond to correspondence seeking to establish his position on any number of issues.
Oh, the horror. Not disclosing a vote on a secret ballot. Why, oh why does this kind of thing happen in America? Dear Gawd! Why allow a private action remain private? Next the ACLU will be announcing actions against the TSA’s new scanners (made by Michael Chertoff’s company) and the invasive pat-down procedures that we know the conservatives universally love.
