More Bad News From Osbourn HS

A security guard employed at Osbourn High School gets busted with drugs along with a teacher. Great. Isn’t he the one supposed to be keeping drugs out of the school?

As Chevy Chase said to Goldie Hawn in a movie circa 1975, “Cops always have the best drugs.”
Good line from the movie…but the guy was not a cop…he was part of the security bunch hired by MCPS for the schools. Officer Rodriquez of MCPD is the School Resource Officer at OHS.
It’s amazing how much goes on in that school. I’m sure the school system leadership is about as broken up about this as they are about the low graduation rates and high costs of esl classes. In fact, I doubt from Pope down, there is any concern about students, it’s all about how much money they can get for the teacher’s union.
As bad as it sounds, and it does sound bad, it doesn’t even come close to T.C. Williams in Alexandria. If some of you only knew what goes on in that school!!

Whats next? A sign that says it is a drug free zone - therefore no drugs. Right? How stupid and juvenile.
Next, there will be a sign that says, “firearms free zone.”
That will keep all the illegal guns away.

I’m sure it’s not as bad, but should we really want to compare the two schools or even want to be as bad?
Our kids deserve better than what has gone on at OHS. Again, with 2 pedophiles arrested at thiasame school, how could the school system allow a teacher to have one living with them. I thought teachers went supposed to fraternize with students. What up with this?
