DoubleSpeak From Frank Principi

By Greg L | 25 January 2011 | Illegal Aliens, Prince William County | 23 Comments

During his town hall meeting this evening, Frank Principi admitted that the most frequent complaint he gets from constituents concerns the largely illegal alien day laborers that gather in two spots along Route 1.  So what does Principi do to address these frequent complaints?  Maybe start delivering on the campaign promises he made in the last election to actually do something — anything at all?

Yeah right.

Instead, Principi participated in a conference call last week for reporters with Gebe Martinez of the open borders “Center For American Progress” where they spent about an hour screaming how any efforts to control illegal immigration are racist, that efforts to address the issue universally result in expensive legal challenges that bankrupt municipalities, and that “anti-immigrant” policies don’t work.  So one week Principi is trashing what a recent UVA study that determined the Rule of Law Resolution to be an effective policy that reduced crime and encouraged illegal aliens to depart, and testifying that efforts such as the Rule of Law Resolution supposedly saddle localities with inescapable costly litigation, which amazingly Prince William County has entirely avoided.  The very next week he’s wringing his hands saying to his own constituents that there’s nothing he can do about the number one problem they’re faced with.

Well, how about for a start you stop shilling for the open borders lobby for a starter?

If Principi gave a whit about the interests of the people actually eligible to cast votes for him in the next election, rather than protecting the interests of illegal aliens who cannot, he might actually be working with the business owners to help coordinate cooperation between them and the police, as other supervisors have done.  He could actually help facilitate code compliance investigations regarding residential overcrowding, which he won’t apparently do.  No, Principi would rather let small business owners get stomped on by illegal alien squatters, see legal residents and citizens watch their quality of life degrade in communities plagued with overcrowding and crime, and not appear “anti-immigrant” lest he upset some tribalists who think that persons of certain ethnic backgrounds should be above the law.

When is Woodbridge going to dump this chump?

Principi: “It’s an eye sore and it’s unsafe for our kids walking to school there at Fred Lynn and we need to do something about it” when talking about Day Laborers.

So it’s a public safety issue involving children. And his response is what, exactly? Badmouthing “anti-immigrant” legislation????

Trash and pieces litter piles up there (the closed access road to BankOfAmerica) daily along with rats running around and it is reported and reported and reported and NOTHING happens it falls into a black hole, if that falls into the black hole do you really think other things in the neighborhoods are being handled?

But Greg, the illegals DO cast votes in elections.

    “Read his quotes here”

Would he say that under oath?

Notice that he says “some income tax”.

Anyone who knows the score knows that employers do not pay for health insurance for illegals or pay their payroll taxes.

That leaves the sales tax and the amount collected in sales taxes from illegals does not come close to covering their medical and educational costs and the costs associated with their crimes.

Principi held a teleconference “Town Hall” last night that I listened in on. A resident asked about the loitering around the 7-11 at PW Pkwy and Route 1 across from Marumsco Shopping Center. He basically reiterated the same stuff you quote from earlier, Greg, and said there was little he could do. He didn’t say he wanted a taxpayer provided day laborer facility, but alluded to the nearby churches volunteering their lots for the same purpose. He claimed that if Southland Corporation moved the loiterers off their property, the loiterers would just move to the sidewalk. He gave no further explanation as to why they then couldn’t be moved from the sidewalk, but I guess its because they are “citizens” using a public by-way. I concur on his removal.

Sadly the communities suffer not only from jobs lost to American citizens but also to the flow of money directly out of the country to the illegals country of origin. Businesses that would directly benefit from an American using his pay to buy things in the local community loses out when an illegal sends nearly his entire paycheck home. The economy is in shambles partially because of this, and sadly it is never mentioned in the mainstream media. Add to this the crime, no health insurance, children of illegals receiving benefits including a free education etc. etc. etc. and it is not hard to see why so many municipalities and even states are going bankrupt. Hosting illegals does no good for anyone except for the businesses that pride themselves in using that labor for slave wages. Everyone else gets screwed.

And I will add, the politicians who pander to illegals and businesses that employ illegal labor are traitors to this country in every sense of the word.

There are E-Verify bills being introduced in the General Assembly. Everyone needs to call their Senator and Delegate and tell them that this is the year to pass one. The Senate has been the problem on this for years. So they are the ones that we need to push.

The PWC Police ride by the 7-11 every day, why don’t they stop and do something about it, they are the law enforcement agency for the county.

Gone and Maureen, I am sure you are aware the business community does NOT support everify, these are your Republican friends using alien labor to make $. They do not support a crack down on illegals any more than Frank does.

Saw all the day laborers standing under the protective roof during the storm at the Coverstone 7-11. Guess the owner has compassion for the illegals. Some good humor watching illegals in their honda civics and accords trying to make it up the hill beside the 7-11 from the comfort of my dinner at TGI Friday’s last night. Guess it ain’t easy to go from riding a burro one day to driving a car in the snow/ice…

Anyone using illegal alien labor regardless of political affiliation is a traitor to the country. If we started to have real penalties such as stripping business licenses, the problem goes away. Once they start having multiple children and going on the welfare system, it is to late.

Does Principi profit from the presence of illegal aliens? What line of work is he in?

Yes, indirectly. He’s an executive in the healthcare industry. Part of what he does is lobby Gerry Connolly for earmarks that help offset the costs of providing illegal aliens with pro-bono emergency room healthcare.

When will Woodbridge dump this chump?

    November 2011.

Have you taken a look at how much is in his campaign account?

    $4,500.

Apparently he has alienated enough businesses in his district and his contributions are drying up.

When the time comes, I’m sure Greg will let everyone know who will be the one to bring Woodbridge back from the brink.

    Harry,

The blame is on both parties but actually the E-Verify bills get through the Republican held house and are killed in the Democrat Senate.

Apparently you can murder two people, commit numerous crimes over 30 or so years and still be here illegally:

“An executive in the healthcare industry.” So he arranges for free care for anyone who walks through the door, keeps track of the numbers served, and goes looking for taxpayer money from his socialist political allies. And the more he serves, the more money he can justify. And the more money he justifies, the larger the cut he can skim off the top. Sounds like a good racket to me. How much does the County contribute to this scam?
