Steve Hunt For Senate

By Greg L | 17 June 2011 | Fairfax County, Virginia Senate | 7 Comments

Folks in Fairfax County have some great candidates to choose from this year, and one of my favorites is Steve Hunt. If you haven’t had a chance to meet him yet Steve is one of the warmest, most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. I had a chance to do some work for him recently which gave me an opportunity to film this at his campaign kickoff which can help bridge that gap for some.

I LOVE Steve Hunt and his ties! Great video Greg, and a great candidate with a terrific message. Government is NOT the solution!!

Yes, the new districts have been approved. Pardon the plug, but story here:

Losing the tie would be a great step forward. I’ve been looking at that for several years now. There are better uses for the Flag of the United States of America than neckwear.

Great point Scout. It’s nothing more than a bad gimmick.

He always seems to wear the same tie in public… does he only own one tie? Was there a closeout where he bought ‘em all up? Is he single handedly keeping the flag-as-neckwear industry going? Granted, It is not as bad as Gerry Connolly’s Fourth of July red/white/blue man-dress of a shirt, but it’s still a bit much.

Patriotism is great. The flag is great.
The tie, however, is more of a novelty tie.
As fashionable as one of those Father’s Day fish ties.

Steve Hunt is a good guy and I find a lot to admire about him and very few things to disagree with, but I must say that while he’s at it he can also lose the 1980s haircut and 1980s big aviator glasses, too. Time to update to the 21st Century.
