Latest Democrat Candidate Drama: Murderer For School Board

By Greg L | 30 June 2011 | Fairfax County | 11 Comments

Democrats sure do put forward some interesting candidates, and when those candidates suddenly disappear there’s usually a fascinating story behind it.  Today’s installment of “When Democrats Go Bad” involves Charisse Espy Glassman, the Gerry Connolly-endorsed candidate for the Fairfax County School Board who suddenly was taken out of contention for the nomination.  Despite getting a thorough vetting by a sitting Congressman who tirelessly promoted her candidacy, it turns out that she took it upon herself to ram her car into a crowd of pro-life advocates protesting in front of the Supreme Court not too long ago in sort of a pro-choice for murder demonstration and ended up getting charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Democrats sure do find some great candidates, don’t they?

I especially like how the “moderate” Gerry Connolly likes to pimp candidates that use their vehicle as a weapon to try to murder people who protest abortionists killing unborn children for profit.  Not only is death for unborn children apparently fine with Gerry Connolly, but death for anyone who cares about the well being of those children is OK, too.  I guess this is philosophically consistent at least, albeit disgusting beyond compare.

The next time Gerry Connolly endorses someone, I suppose we have good reason to ask who, if anyone, that candidate has tried to murder recently, and why.

While I share your views on Boss Connolly, something just doesn’t seem right with this story.

I read an interview with her 3 days ago. If this crime happened before that you’d think she would have been looking for ways to explain herself. Or, at least, you’d think the journalist would be asking questions.

If it happened in the last 3 days you’d think she’d be in jail.

I am not questioning your integrity but I wonder about your sources. How do you know she was charged with assault with a deadly weapon? When did it happen? Was she arrested, charged, tried, convicted? Did she serve time?

Nothing would make me happier than to see yet another stain on Boss Connolly’s well stained reputation. But something just doesn’t sound right with this one.

She has a ton of traffic violations, including 3 HOV offenses the last of which was dismissed.

COTTRELL FLETCHER SCHINSTOCK BARTOL & COTTREL got an $11,253.53 judgment against her on 01/07/2010.

Local journalists actually doing any investigation for a story? Oh, that’s rich. How many stories have I broken on BVBL about things like candidates for office posting personal ads on gay dating websites, outright lying about their qualifications, or partying with Rudolph the Dildo-nosed reindeer? Local journalists don’t have time to look into the records of candidates for school board, much less Delegate.

So if something seems awry with this, then what IS the story that explains why a Democrat party endorsed candidate who was heavily promoted by Gerry Connolly suddenly has their nomination withdrawn without explanation? It has to be worse than Barney Frank screwing underage boys working as congressional pages, or Anthony Weiner sending pictures of his junk to teenage girls on twitter, right?

Given what we’ve seen, this isn’t much of an anomaly. Dude, this is the pattern.

For the record, Barney Frank was never accused of sleeping with underage boys. He said that he had slept with a prostitute to whom he gave access to his home. The prostitute supposedly brought some johns there. No one was accused of being underage.

I believe that Barney Frank was confused with Gerry Studds above.

She was running county-at-large, not Providence district.

The most important thing to do is to make Connolly retire in 2012.

In America, people are innocent until proven guilty. Glass man has not gone to trial.

    Sensationalism at it’s best.

OK - When you are wrong, you are wrong. And I was wrong. Good call on the story. Not sure she literally tried to kill anybody but where there’s a liberal with a revving engine there’s sure to be a Pro Life advocate nearby.

Here’s the WaPo story … written one day after BVBL’s scoop …

    Well done Clark Kent.

That was Barney’s bud Gary Studds and the underage pages. Studds went on to be re-elected to congress from the great state of Massachusetts.
