Democrat Model Of Governance Has Failed

By Greg L | 9 July 2011 | RPV | 13 Comments

With yesterday’s announcement that unemployment has risen to 9.2%, Howie sure is right about this. This is the third in a series, with parts two and one below the fold.

Yup. Obama inherited a thriving economy when he was inaugurated and screwed it all to hell. By the way, I have some land in Florida I’d like to sell to you.

Disgusted… so how many years do you think it’ll take him to right it??
I mean, Reagan was well on his way out of the (Carter) hole we were in within 2 years.
Of course, he had a secret weapon…Jack Kemp.
Kemp convined him to drop taxes on those who make the jobs — and the following 12 years of prosperity is documented history.

Do you not forget that he incorporated the social security money into the budget to not show how much deficit spending was going on? Do you forget that the military spending increase was termed a “stimulus” to get the economy rolling? We have interest payments on the debt racked up by reagan that we are still paying now? So, tell me , when exactly did the gipper say those tax cuts would pay back the deficit spending???????

Guess what, they didnt. Reagan got our economy moving with budget tricks and deficit spending. PERIOD.

The Gipper had much more going for himself than our first affirmative action (not the best qualified) so-called President.

The Gipper started out in Dixon, Illinois as a lifeguard helping those on need.

Obama was the son of a whore and a Communist father that wanted to give him up for adoption.

What a great campaign ad “even his communist father didn’t want him”

Bite me libs. You all can go f**k yourselves.

“We have interest payments on the debt racked up by reagan that we are still paying now?”

Another liberal LIE. Since Clinton actually balanced and cleared the National Deficit in his term, I’d say your idiotic comment above was automatically negated. Since there was no debt for the year afterwards, there could be no lasting balance on anything Reagan did.

That’s the tip of the iceberg of the lies or deliberate misdirections in your tripe.

Just as Democrats bemoan GB’s deficit numbers more recently. The CBO indicates a small dive back into the red in the immediate aftermath of the attacks of 9/11 and the response into Afghanistan in that next year (2002). After that , the deficit went further into the red in 2003, 2004.
But a little reported occurrence began in 2005, when the deficit climbed back out of the hole. In 2006, it did it again. In 2007, the deficit was EXACTLY where it had been in 2002.

It was not until 2008, with the elected democrats occupying BOTH houses, that it TRIPLED. 2009 was the clear and documented beginning of the end of concern by democrats for the deficit.
Because in 2009, they TRIPLED it again. Why can I not find any concern about the deficit in liberal rags today…when it is 9 times deeper than George Bush ever pushed it??

Quit yer misdirection now. I’m light years ahead of your talking points and drivel.

The balanced budget durind the clinton years was a lie bulletproof monk! The budget hole during those years were filled by the social security surplus of the time. We are only paying the interest on the debt currently.

By the way, GWs budget didnt include the cost of the wars, they were funded by emergency appropiations which did not get counted in the deficit.

Lets see, ibudget myself needing 5000 dollars extra to get thru the year and I borrow it. I know I am going to need a car but I did not budget for it. After my official budget is under way I borrow an additional 4000 dollars for the car that I knew I would have needed, the war, that doesnt get counted on my official budget?

Rumsfeld stated as to why this was being done because the military ran on two year budgets. Six years into the war they were still doing emergency appropriations when they knew what the cost of the war was going to be.

By the way, reagan ended up doing what carter was going to do and that was to stall the economy by jacking up interest rates on the fed to get inflation in check. He realised this after a year he was in office.

Are you saying there is no debt left by reagan to be paid???

If so do more wiki searches on the debt and not listen to political lies.

By the way, until the realestate bubble created by cheap fed money duing bush2 is cleared up by the market, not by the goverment, the unemployment rate is going to be high for awhile. The majority of the unemployed were people who worked in the houseing industry.

People are not out taking home equity lines of credit on there house anymore. The bush economy was fueled not by real capital creation but by credit borrowing on inflated home values.

Lets let our capitalistic system work its way through the houseing fiasco and arrive at a true market bottom price. Until this happens, the economy will not expand since there was an overexpansion earlier.

While Clinton raised taxes and the rising economic boom helped receipts out pace the increase in spending, our current leader increased spending with a downturn in receipts. Now he moves to raise taxes on the “rich” ala Clinton as our unemployment hovers around 10% with no economic boom on the horizon.

One can only wonder what historical tactic he will attempt to copy next…..oh joy.

Another historical blueprint for spending it as fast as he can…
