I think it’s time to pack up this campaign. The stories have gone from terrible, to simply, outrageously horrible.

What? You are jumping off the Speakman bandwagon? What about all his swell ideas about dealing with illegal aliens?
They’re great ideas, and I hope they’re implemented. A campaign needs more than great ideas — it needs an electable candidate.
Come on Greg, don’t leave us hanging. Any chance you have video? Maybe you can put together one last encore, can’t wait to hear the soundtrack.

Hate to have to say it, but I told you so.
Speaking of told-you-so… I predicted that the Campaign manager for another candidate would trip on her own feet …and not that long ago. Tried to get her a soft landing with another candidate with a paid position…but to no avail.
So this week, she botches a community walk and signs start popping up in awfully weird patterns. Seems she’s really a democrat after all.
I don’t begrudge her for that. But perhaps the District Chair of the LCRC is not the position for her , after all.
And besides, with the abandonment of the Board of Supervisor’s candidate for CATOCTIN because she’s super wrapped up in a Sheriff’s race candidates campaign…. she’s not really doing her job, anyways.
She had a gravytrain on into the Catoctin Chairman’s slot again….and she blew it.
Not a bad word about Speakman, or Simpson for that matter, and more diversion. Typical.
A lot of Democrats are actually supporting the only real choice for Sheriff in Loudoun County, and that is Mike Chapman. The guy that all LCRC members are supposed to be supporting. His two opponents include the perv discussed in this post, and a crooked part time incumbent. But some of them still have their panties in a wad because Chapman didn’t hire them or their pals. And all this BS from the guy who wipes her feet as “Vice Chairman”, but is too lame to even spell out her name. So pathetic.
Do you think Monk will eat those words when Chapman is Sheriff. The unnamed campaign manager and district chair rolled up the LCRC like it was a blanket and did so without ever exposing the philandering Speakman’s darker side. She did it with substance, hard work, and a great candidate. Pure class.

Are you kidding us Monk!! One of the biggest incidents to hit this campaign season and somehow you want to continue a personal grudge against a campaign manager??!?? And nary a word of condemnation against what Speakman did! You truly are a figment of a wild imagination.
The next thing we’ll be hearing is how LI had nothing to do with getting this story printed and that it was somehow one of your super secret covert operations that lead to this to story.
Why don’t you man up and call for Speakman to step down and drop the silly mind game of thinking this is all about you and LI.

All that — and not a word of information about how things out here in Western Loudoun took a decidedly left turn. No defense of the woman at all…just more attacks on me.

Furthermore, the whole gang is actually lathering over a race where the winner will actually get his Budget and marching orders from members of the Legislature ….you know — the other races that they’ve stepped over.

I do care about Black, Ramadan, Phillips and Minchew. And the real opportunity that those who have been marching towards the dream of a Republican-controlled Senate in Virginia are about to realize that we’re THERE! The long haul has paid off.
Of course to liberals and illegal alien hugging turds like BO….this is actually nightmare time. The Rule of Law is about to put Virginia on the map with Arizona and Alabama.
And we have a Governor to sign it until 2013.

Of course, when you hang your hat (calling yourself a republican) on one candidate, because the rest of the time you’re too friggin’ busy making all out assumptions and smeears on EVERY OTHER REPUBLICAN IN THE COUNTY… we tend to begin to question that race by the company it keeps.
Monk, all I gots to say to that is go ask Mike if you are helping him by doing the above and your BS over at VV. Ask Mike if he appreciates all that great love you’re throwing his way. After you get that answer go ask someone, outside your circle, at the LCRC and ask them the same thing. Ask them if you are helping Mike. It seems to be obvious to almost everyone else you are being destructive. You should move out of your tight little circle and reassess. I am probably asking to much of you.

Yes, BO, we are all well aware that Chapman has many democrat supporters. That’s rather obvious, isn’t it? He used to have lots of republican supporters too. Oh well. He’ll have lots of fun with a republican dominated board and GA!

BO, Please stop telling people what they should and should not be outraged over, how they should comment or how they should feel, who they should support, how they should support them or why. The concentration in this Sheriff’s race should be on Sheriff Simpson. As a conservative woman I have been offended by you dozens of times over the years, so you and Speakman have something in common.
Speakman is toast. He self imploded. It’s a good thing when one your opponents self destructs. Continually asking people to be outraged over Speakman is a total and complete waste of time.
There are 32 races in this county with less than 32 days until election day. If people want to piss away precious time poking at Speakman, feel free.

The super secret decoder rings they all have tell them what to do - “psst, here’s the deal, let’s not say anything good at all about Chapman, or anything negative about Ron or Steve (first name basis there!), and don’t forget we need to take down that skinny bitch and that arrogant asshole who wouldn’t listen to us”.
These people can’t get any real excitement about some of their favorite candidates so they take out their frustrations on Chapman and Mills who continue to blow them away in every campaign metric. If you’re so interested in helping your candidates, then quit your bitching about your party’s Sheriff nominee and his campaign manager.
The petty Mean Girls drama has yet to end I see. Still not a negative word about Speakman or Simpson from the certified members of the Chapman/Mills Hater club.
Speakman has no chance of winning, but he is still running full page ads in every paper every week and running radio and TV spots. Too many people have no clue about any of his past or current drama that absolutely disqualifies him from being a street cop, let alone Sheriff. The only thing he can do at this point is pull off enough non-Simpson votes to throw the election to Simpson, which is what to many connected or petty jealous people in the LCRC want to have happen.
