Manassas Democratic Party nominee Patricia Richie-Folks hasn’t been doing a lot of campaigning in her bid for city council lately, so I thought it might be worthwhile to take a look at what she’s been up to on facebook to get an update. I almost wish I hadn’t.
The House of Delegates is at it again. After seeing delegates use their time during the short session to talk about how their wives aren’t putting out, or to catcall “shoot him” at other members during a floor speech, they’ve sunk to a new low today.
Lie to someone in order to get personal access to them. Use that access to make a ridiculous documentary that portrays them as a monster. Then ask them to be your buddy on LinkedIn. Have liberals just gone plain nuts, or has the open borders Coffee Party types become so desperate they need to reach […]
The Manassas Tea Party is fighting against the expenditure of taxpayer funds on a private property and sent out this appeal for local residents to participate in citizen’s time at the next meeting of the Manassas City Council. Their appeal is below the fold.
Whooda thunk? MS-13 gang-bangers using day laborer sites to pimp fourteen year old prostitution slaves to illegal aliens? And to think that the open borders crowd in Centreville just opened a day laborer site to make this kind of human trafficking even more convenient! That’s liberal progress for ya. It’s all about the children.
Media General, the parent company of the Manassas News & Messenger, has announced it is exploring selling off it’s “loss making newspaper operations.” There’s little doubt that our local birdcage liner will be one of the money-losing operations to go on the block — the only question is whether anyone would be stupid enough to buy it […]
More to come on this later, but Tommy Norment voted against HB 1060 in Senate Courts of Justice Committee today, protecting CRIMINAL illegal aliens who are arrested for state or local crimes from being identified by Homeland Security and removed from this country. Norment conclusively demonstrated that establishment Republicans cannot be trusted to ensure public safety, […]
Steak dinners for elected officials at taxpayer expense! Gotta love them “discretionary funds!”
Some of our elected overlords KNOW NO SHAME AT ALL.
UPDATE: Riley at Virtucon weighs in as well. UPDATE 2: Since $1,000 of taxpayer dollars per supervisor to the charity they’re a part of wasn’t enough, they all added another $300 to the giveaway. That […]
Delegate Rich Anderson’s HB 1060 is going to be heard in the Senate Courts of Justice Committee tomorrow and we will see once and for all whether the Republican Party stands for the rule of law, or wants to ensure that unscrupulous employers (many of whom are large campaign contributors) can continue to unlawfully employ illegal aliens […]
Delegate Bob Marshall responds here to some of the hyperbole coming out of Democrats and their mainstream media acolytes regarding HB1. Nice mix of humor and facts here. Not that I expect the left to ever acknowledge the truth here, but it would be nice to see them make a policy argument other […]
Amidst the usual drama we get every year about how the Prince William County Schools are supposedly severely underfunded, Board Chairman Milt Johns wants to explore giving the School Board taxing authority. That’s not because this Republican thinks your taxes are too high, no, the whole idea here is to make them higher, even though the […]
We’re overdue for a chance for readers to direct the conversation topics. Have at it, folks!
Delegate and Pastor Luke Torian should be facing some tough questions from his congregation this Sunday.
So, when Luke Torian had an opportunity to stand up for human life and affirm the teachings of Jesus Christ that he purports to preach to his flock, he didn’t. Apparently his Democrat special interest donors would allow him to take a walk […]
This story is just utterly bizarre. Fights at a high school basketball game lead to someone shooting at random pedestrians in Dale City. The perp has previous charges that involve gang participation, something that adds a mandatory five year sentence to any conviction. As it turns out though, all of this suspects previous charges were “nolle […]
Manassas Democrats haven’t nominated someone to run for city council in many years, but this time around they did actually manage to find an electoral sacrifice to offer city voters. Patricia Richie-Folks should quite easily live up (or rather, down) to the standard of unqualified, out-of-touch and disconnected Democrat nominees that locks Manassas and […]
So this guy is charged with being a “peeping tom,” an offense that Delegate Jackson Miller said several years ago during a debate about some legislation he was sponsoring that would require that a police officer release the suspect on a summons, and the perp is being held without bond in jail? My, are we going to […]
