I so enjoy the BVBL blog! PWC residents and beyond have an excellent forum with the added advantage of news that the “Press” ignores. The Left wanders in and does what the Left always does, sling their stupidity, distort facts, and just outright lies. In their twisted reality - they consider this truth - but most of the Left should be heavily medicated for their own sake. The rest of the population expresses their common sense, their commitment to the Constitution, and yes, that old fashion word that every generation must discover, patriotism.

Clearly, there should be more public efforts to remind Americans who we are as Americans - particularly as the 6 November national election approaches.

On 17 September 2012, Constitution Day will be celebrated . . . by some. The entire week will be Constitition Week. Patriotic Americans, no doubt mostly Conservatives, should consider ways to celebrate this event. In addition, they should encourage our local school system to undertake a dynamic program for Constitition Week and turn around the annual failures of educating students about the fundemental law of America.

As for the lawlessness of the Left (look for massive voter fraud in November) and their outrageous spewing of toxic lies, these fools are alienating legal residents who may just vote in November.

I was one of the three who had the police called on them. And I can tell you from first hand experience that the reading was not directed at the democratic tent. It was being held on the curb facing out into the street, directed at the people passing by. It was a member of the Democratic party who came out of his tent and approached us, saying that we looked like “Nazi Soldiers.” Now call me crazy, but I believe comparing three young men to Nazi Soldiers just for reading the Declaration of Independence on the 4th of July is downright offensive to most people.

As far as the police, they just approached us (as we were well down the block and walking away at this point) and told us to leave them alone. The responding officer informed us that this was a family event and didn’t want any trouble. He said that people were there to have fun and not hear our “Rhetoric.” We tried explaining that there is no rhetoric in reading the Declaration of Independence verbatim. After a brief conversation the officer must have picked up on the fact that we were just three people not causing any trouble (contrary to what they heard from the Democratic tent I’m sure…) and we parted without anyone getting in trouble.
