The Human Cost Of Obama’s Amnesty

By Greg L | 31 July 2012 | National Politics, Illegal Aliens, Crime | 7 Comments

The Obama administration has made it pretty clear over and over again that it has no interest in enforcing our nation’s immigration laws.   The Washington Times reports that the Congressional Research Service and the House Judiciary Committee has tallied up what that policy has cost us in human terms, and it’s quite a heavy price:

The Obama administration declined to try to deport more than 36,000 illegal immigrants that were arrested on other charges between 2008 and 2011, including some who went on to commit 19 murders, 3 attempted murders and 142 sex crimes, the House Judiciary Committee said Tuesday.

Every one of these crimes was entirely preventable if only the federal government did what it was supposed to do: get and keep illegal aliens out of our country.  Instead, Obama’s burning desire to protect illegal aliens from the consequences of their behavior results in death and destruction for legal immigrants and American citizens alike.  How many more lives of law-abiding citizens will have to be laid on the altar of Obama’s radical political ideology?

The cost is more than we can bear already.

    Greg,

They don’t care, just as the Bush administration did not care, nor the Clinton administration before that. For the politicos it’s all about votes, their jobs, their lives, they feel no moral obligation to their fellow citizens nor the immigrant community which tends to be the most victimized by the criminal elements that have been embraced and protected by our leaders. We live in a penal colony we just can’t say it or complain about it, and our elected officials are our jailers, our capos.

Although the Bush administration shares the guilt and responsibility for allowing the illegal alien situation to move forward so rapidly, at least Bush did not file law suits against the states and local jurisdictions which attempted to deal with this problem like Obama and Holder have done. And the Bush administration did not sanction voter fraud by having a national policy to block photo-ID for balloting.

Obama has the intention of undermining the US in every way possible, economically with his socialist redistribution of wealth programs, socially with his race and class wars, globally by hastening the demise of US influence abroad, and culturally by fostering dependence on the government.

Because of the national cynicism of both the Democrats and the Republicans, the only solution to the illegal alien problem is to regain the authority for the States and local jurisdictions. That’s why Obama tries to stop it at every turn. To strengthen local enforcement of the laws will help push the illegal aliens out. But don’t look for that in Manassas.

This month at an academic program at American University one of my sons had a discussion with someone from New Mexico who was shocked that Manassas schools had a 50% Hispanic enrollment, something which does not occur in New Mexico — even though New Mexico shares a long border with Mexico… and even shares the name ‘Mexico.’

With only minor exceptions, the politicians in Manassas are a major part of the national problem of illegal aliens. And, of course, the politically incorrect thing to say… another part of the problem is Padre Ramon and Father Bob (”…immigration documents are just a piece of paper”) and the massive support of All Saints Church —which attracts Hispanics who donate every Sunday but who then receive free education from the City’s taxpayers instead of attending All Saints School.

The figures for murder must not include homicide by drunken illegal aliens. We have had what? 10 murders committed by illegals just in our area. Something doesn’t seem right here.

I wonder how many of them came over here during the Bush years? If I remember, Liberia was still all white prior to the bush presidency. So tell me who let them in defacto?

“the only solution to the illegal alien problem is to regain the authority for the States and local jurisdictions”

    Charles,

The solution has to include the Federal agencies responsible and that would include the FBI. I strongly encourage all of Frank Wolf’s constituents to write Wolf and encourage him to encourage his good buddies over at the Bureau to follow-up on the Woosley case and look into (raid & seize the evidence) hiring fraud that took place under Woosley, we have entire offices in ICE and USCIS riddled with unqualified and corrupt personnel. And who hired Woosley? He replaced an official who took corrupt and criminal practices seriously. Who placed Woosley and why has ICE told the FBI to back off, before they have even investigated places like El Paso which Woosley oversaw? One would think that a former Jordanian Air Force officer accessing classified material all the time would get the FBI attention? Especially since he didn’t even have a security clearance! Almost as funny was that he was supervisory intelligence analyst… a supervisor in an intelligence agency who doesn’t have a security clearance. “America, what a great country!”

As for the amnesty, how will they check the juvenile records of those who are getting the benefits? They can’t, and they won’t. SNAFU over at USCIS. Great opportunity for gangs to launder their money and make their members respectable members of the community. It appears they put the same guy in charge of coming up with the program who the Bush administration let control the NRC and the NBC which allowed thousands and thousands of criminals into this country without ever checking their criminal records here or abroad.

I know there is an election but at least the Obama administration could have waited for the grand jury investigation into DHS OIG offices down in Texas fixing and burying investigations to reveal just what the OIG offices was possibly trying to hide. I know of several reports forwarded to the OIG down in Texas concerning USCIS and ICE and in fact so does some places in the FBI. Mr. Wolf?

Mr. Wolf do you know the human cost of the immigration system’s collapse in your district?

Any human cost involved in this scenario?

Once Ramiro hires an immigration lawyer, Ramiro will be advised to tell authorities that he is a DREAMER and all charges will be dropped and Ramiro will be free to go wherever his sweet, innocent little heart desires!
