No More Adult Business In Old Town

By Greg L | 11 November 2013 | Manassas City | 5 Comments

About the only surprise here is that it took so long for the owners to figure out that Old Town was an awful place to put an adult-oriented store.

KK’s is shutting down and the building has been sold. ┬áLet’s hope some bright, enterprising soul out there does a better job figuring out what kind of businesses can thrive in a nice space like that than the last tenants.

A civil war sutler/re-enactor’s shop absolutely comes to mind.

LoL. The apology page is a classic. Thanks for the laugh.

Seriously though, I agree with the article. I have nothing against adult-oriented businesses, but I do feel they should be located in an appropriate location.

You could, maybe, get a gun shop.
Selling only antique guns of course.

So that is the only business that failed in Old Town?

    Ephesians 4 (NIV) –
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, with a continual lust for more.

the idea of a town devoted to children’s businesses and lacking altogether adult establishments is a wondrous one that should do well at Christmas tide.
