Boehner Out, Tea Party Goes On The Air

By Greg L | 25 September 2015 | National Politics, Manassas City, Prince William County | 4 Comments

In honor of Speaker John Boehner announcing he will retire from Congress, it seems to be a good time to remind people about the motivations of some of those who helped encourage Boehner to make this decision.

MTP PSA: “You Are Not Alone” from NOVA Digital Films.

One down, a few left to go.

Verizon and Comcast customers will start seeing this spot soon in Prince William and Fauquier Counties in one of the first cable buys by an independent Tea Party Group in the nation. The Tea Party isn’t going away, it’s getting stronger.

The TP looks stronger because it has weakened the GOP. The GOP disappears and the TP will die from it’s own lack of foresight. That will strengthen the Dems and if they don’t wreck the country to quickly the middle will have only one group of idiots to contend with and they will take the country back.

The Tea Party was started as a group (large) of citizens extremely concerned with runaway spending on the part of the federal government. This group contains (always did, still does) people from across the political spectrum. This group will force the politicians to return to operating this country in a fiscally sound manner.

Or, the ongoing experiment with socialismn will destroy this Country.

That’s a LOT of white people…. Definitely not racially proportionate to the actual ethnic makeup of Manassas City.

    What an utterly ridiculous complaint.

The notion that an idea - in this case the ideas espoused by the founders of this nation - is invalid unless it is promoted via some arbitrary racial and ethnic quota established by the left is beyond silly. You might remember that these ideas were identified as “our national creed” by none other than Martin Luther King, Jr. But because there aren’t apparently enough people who look in some way, this is somehow flawed, and perhaps racist. I suggest you take this idea up with Dr. King’s descendants. I know some of them, and I suspect you’ll have a very interesting conversation.

Of note, this weekend a former Democrat candidate penned an interesting op-ed in the Washington Post about diversity in the political realm. If the left actually takes this sort of idea seriously, a good place to start would be within the leadership of the Democrat Party in Virginia, which apparently only wants white men to run for office according to Atif Quarni.
