Chairman Kim Jong-Sawyers Suspends The First Amendment

By Greg L | 20 June 2017 | Schools, PWCDC, Prince William County | 11 Comments

Here’s the story that the leftists supporting Prince William County School Board Chairman desperately do not want you to see on social media, so perhaps it’s time to at least suspend my hiatus from blogging.

Tomorrow night the School Board is going to have a meeting where Democrats are almost certainly going to enshrine special protections for “transgender” staff and students in official school policy.  Given that in the past five years there hasn’t been a single incident where any “transgender” persons has reported any problems, the result of this policy will be to arm activists with a cudgel to beat down anyone who even expresses discomfort when they’re forced to share private areas with people of the opposite sex.  It’s a tremendously effective way to enforce groupthink, as the purpose of policy is to define behavior deserving of punishment, not to enable anyone to do anything.

Of course there are a lot of residents who might have something they’d like to share with the school board at this meeting, and normally people wanting to speak to the board would provide their information to the clerk, who puts them on a speaker’s list in the order in which they’ve asked to speak.  But Sawyers, who has been decrying that too many people opposing Sawyer’s viewpoint have signed up, apparently developed another method of establishing the speaker’s list and sent a text to the clerk telling the clerk that these are the people who will get to speak before the vote happens, regardless of what School Policy 133-1 requires.

So here we’ve got an elected official deciding who gets to speak at a meeting of a public body based on the content of the message they are expected to deliver.  Is there anything more patently offensive to constitutionally-protected rights in America?

So who are the glorified government-approved speakers that our local version of Chairman Kim Jong-Il wants to allow a public voice instead of the people?  Well, at least two are Democratic Party candidates for the House of Delegates.  One is the leader of “Equality Prince William,” one of the homosexual lobbies that is aggressively promoting speech codes.  The rest are fairly well known party loyalists.

This is what Democrat governance looks like.  Animal Farm was not an instruction manual, folks.

UPDATE: Retreating from this perfidity under a withering fire of criticism, Saywers then claimed that he would pick and choose a ‘balanced’ list of speakers for the meeting.  At the meeting, Sawyers then disclosed that he had made up his own speakers list and that there was some other list that had been made without his knowledge, but he’d nevertheless proceed with that speakers list and then add his own list of speakers at the end.

Lo and behold, this list made supposedly without his knowledge was that list of speakers of supposedly alternating viewpoints he had alluded to earlier, and who somehow were required to divulge the content of their remarks in advance in order to be allowed to speak so they could be placed in the correct spot.  First up on that list was Bill Hosp, the President of the Prince William Federation of Teachers.  Also included on that special list of people who were allowed to exercise their Constitutionally-protected rights before the vote was held was the Virginia Director of the ACLU, a Democrat running in the 50th District for the House of Delegates, the Director of “Equality Virginia,” a pro-homosexual group, a lesbian attending college in Cincinatti, a self-avowed “pansexual” and a “LGTBQIQF Committee chairman” who represented “NOVA Pride” and PFLAG.

Picking and choosing who gets to exercise free speech rights using a made-up, ad-hoc, undocumented policy in defiance of an approved, well-understood existing policy is outrageous and unlawful, and clearly happening because the speakers list that the existing policy produced was something that Sawyers didn’t like.  Sawyers has no tolerance for viewpoints that are not consistent with his own, and as he has frequently done in the past, ruthlessly stamped out any opportunity for his own constituents to have a voice in what their elected officials are doing, supposedly on their behalf.

Democrat governance on display, in all it’s glory.  Remember this the next time you go into the voting booth.

This is not the actual list of speakers in order. There will be five “for” and five “against” before the vote.

Blame Sawyers if you don’t like their names being in the public record. His idiocy is what got them there.

No, Bob Marshall providing it to someone who was willing to handle it irresponsibly is at fault. If anything happens to anyone on this list, the Delegate and Greg should be held liable. Even The Sheriff of Nottingham in Prince William County redacted the names. That says A LOT!!!

Unless leftists are going to start attacking Ryan Supporter’s it would seem they’re pretty safe. Not like we have a bunch of lutehrans out there shooting at Nancy Pelosi. All the political violence is coming from the left and has been for quite some time.

May 8: Wendi Wright, 35, was arrested after stalking Rep. David Kustoff (Tenn.) and trying to run him off the road. After pulling over, Wright “began to scream and strike the windows on Kustoff’s car and even reached inside the vehicle.”

May 9: Virginia Rep. Tom Garrett needed heavy security at a town hall after receiving a series of death threats in May that police “deemed to be credible and real.”

“This is how we’re going to kill your wife,” one message said. Others detailed how they would kill his children, and even his dog.

May 12: A town hall participant accosted North Dakota Rep. Kevin Cramer, shoving fake dollar bills into his suit jacket. A Kramer supporter grabbed the same man by the neck. Both men were ejected by law enforcement, but neither were charged.

May 12: A Tucson, Ariz. school district employee was arrested by the FBI for sending several death threats to Arizona Rep. Martha McSally. The man threatened to shoot McSally and told her to “be careful” because her days “were numbered.”

May 21: Florida Rep. Ted Yoho described his office getting vandalized by protesters. One female constituent left a voicemail on an office answering machine, promising, “Next time I see you, I’m going to beat your f**king ass.”

June 14: Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.) and Jeff Flake (Ariz.), and Reps. Steve Scalise (La.), Kevin Brady (Texas), Jack Bergman (Mich.), Mike Bishop (Mich.), Mike Conaway (Texas), Roger Williams (Texas), John Moolenaar (Mich.), Gary Palmer (Ala.), Chuck Fleischmann (Tenn.), Ron DeSantis (Fla.), Barry Loudermilk (Ga.), Mark Walker (N.C.), Steve Pearce (N.M.), Brad Wenstrup (Ohio), Rodney Davis (Ill.), Jeff Duncan (S.C.), Trent Kelly (Miss.), Mo Brooks (Ala.), and Joe Barton (Texas) were attacked by a gunman during a baseball practice in Alexandria, Va.

Scalise, the House majority whip, was shot in the hip, and remains in the hospital. Four others were injured, including a staffer for Williams and two Capitol Police officers assigned to Scalise.

The same day, New York Rep. Claudia Tenney received an email reading, “One down, 216 to go.”

June 17: Missouri Rep. Ann Wagner revealed that she had gotten five death threats in the weeks leading up to the Scalise shooting. Wagner said that protesters had been “vandalizing my home, showing up with masks and gravestones, and laying down on my driveway and drawing chalk outlines of dead bodies. Picketing my church at 8 and 10 o’clock Mass.”

June 22: An Ohio man was arrested for leaving a voicemail threatening the life and family of Rep. Steve Stivers (Ohio).

“We’re coming to get every goddamn one of you and your families. Maybe the next one taken down will be your daughter. Huh? Or your wife. Or even you,” the man said.

The same day, Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz played a threatening voicemail he had received on “Fox & Friends.”

“I suggest you prepare for the battle motherf**ker, and the apocalypse,” the caller yelled. “Because we are going to hunt your ass down, wrap a rope around your neck, and hang you from a lamppost.”

What responsibility does thug and bully, PWC School Board Chairman Ryan Sawyers, bear for cheating and breaking the rules that conduct Citizens Comment Time?

Sadly, none of the School Board members challenged the use of 2 lists of names Sawyers used for Citizens Comment Time at the June 21st School Board meeting. Which of the 2 lists was legal/legit? Until that issue was resolved, Citizens Comment Time shouldn’t have occurred!

Very sadly, PWC citizens/residents have witnessed bullying, dumbing-down, kowtowing and feckless leadership at the hands of all PWC School Board members. We are merely taxpayers to PWC Schools. We know no employees, only a few students who attend County Schools. We see that everyone who has a day-to-day stake with PWC Schools is being used, abused and cheated from vital tutelage and education… ALL IN THE NAME OF POLITICS!

It’s futile to lay the blame with Ryan Sawyers, Lillie Jessie, Diane Raulston, Justin Wilks and Loree Williams. One is a bully while the others are cowards. None of these 5 is protecting ALL who walk through PWC School doors.

A recall for Ryan Sawyers has stalled because most who derive an income from PWC Schools are too afraid to add their names to a petition that is being circulated.

mrsevw85, no, the recall stalled because you cannot get enough signatures to put forward before a judge, as well as your two highest donors either cannot (Petrak) or will not (Lawson) put forward any more money (And no one else wants to waste a dime refilling Petrak’s bank account).

What’s “hilarious” is that you don’t understand that we don’t care if there are enough signatures or not. The recall effort casts a dark shadow over Sawyers even if we are only able to get 6,000 signatures. That’s 6k voters who can’t stand the guy! Sure it would be nice to go before a judge in the near future, but if not, we have not failed. It still pisses Sawyers off and that is completely worth it! HaHa!
