11 June 2009 | Fairfax County, US Congress, Prince William County | 32 Comments
Bill O’Reilly calls out Congressman Gerry Connolly as a “Mother Jones Leftist” for voting against the restrictions on the release of photos of Guantanamo Bay detainees that would almost certainly increase the danger to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. So much for Connolly being a “moderate,” as he claimed […]

23 February 2009 | Fairfax County | 30 Comments
Congressman Tom Tancredo, one of the most outspoken defenders of rights for Americans and advocate for enforcing our borders will be at George Mason University on Wednesday to speak to college chapter of the Young Americans for Freedom. This should be rather interesting. This bastion of liberalism and open borders is going to go nuts.
The […]

Top Ten Reasons To Vote For Herrity, Plus One
2 February 2009 | Fairfax County | 15 Comments
Herndon Town Councilman Dennis Husch gives ten great reasons to vote for Pat Herrity for Fairfax Supervisor tomorrow, but I think he left out the biggest one: Gerry Connolly is endorsing his opponent. This is a great opportunity to not only select a superior leader for Fairfax County, but you get a chance to stick […]

More Morantics, and Mrs. Morantics, Too
28 January 2009 | Fairfax County, US Congress | 4 Comments
Guest Post by Sanford D. Horn
Usually we can count on the irascible Democratic Congressman Jim Moran (VA-8) for entertainment whenever he decides to open his mouth, but this time the irascibility was a tag-team effort with his wife LuAnn Bennett who both caused a scene on Inauguration Day at the Capitol.

The Fairfax Times reports that Herndon has again come up with a fascinating idea that will help ensure that federal employment laws are not willfully disregarded. A new “I-9 campaign” informs anyone who might be interested in hiring a day laborer that the law requires that an I-9 employment eligibility form be completed, and helpfully […]

Fairfax Turned Down By 287(g) Program
17 November 2008 | Fairfax County, Illegal Aliens, Crime | 17 Comments
After a rush of localities discovered the utility of deporting criminal illegal aliens rather than releasing them from jail after they served their sentences, Fairfax County Sheriff Stan Berry quietly applied to have Fairfax County participate in the Section 287(g) Program. Unfortunately, it appears that waiting has consequences, as Fairfax County won’t be accepted into […]

Now He Tells Us…
10 November 2008 | Fairfax County, US Congress, Prince William County | 28 Comments
Less than one week after becoming Congressman-elect, Gerry Connolly is calling for a hike in the federal gas tax. I suppose he feels as a first-term Congressman he’s going to pull the weight necessary to earmark all this for the 11th District? Or does he feel its a good idea to get ahead of the […]
11th District Battle
4 November 2008 | Fairfax County, US Congress, Prince William County | 17 Comments
UPDATE: Projection as of 9:24 - The corrupt Connolly wins in the 11th District. Prince William County failed to come through for Fimian, with Connolly winning 51-47 in Prince William. Disgusting.
Keith Fiminan needed to have a strong margin in Prince William County in order to win the 11th District, and the early returns (with about […]
Gerry Connolly Trolls For Votes At Police Officer Funeral
3 November 2008 | Fairfax County, US Congress | 12 Comments
Gerry Connolly once again shows some class. There seems to be no limit to what this guy is willing to do in his quest for political power.
Officer Stecco of the Fairfax County Police tragically drowned in a helicopter water rescue training scenario last week; he was laid to rest last evening. A Bronze Medal of […]

Gerry Connolly’s Fairfax County, Where Democracy Just Died
23 October 2008 | Fairfax County, Crime | 20 Comments
Fairfax County, that great bastion of democracy. Where the absentee ballots of military personnel are unlawfully discarded due to a technical decision that isn’t permitted under federal law. Where people from out of state are unlawfully permitted to vote. That’s the shocking revelation coming from OpenMarket.org tonight, and without a doubt this is going to […]

Gerry Connolly The Tool
10 October 2008 | Fairfax County, US Congress, Prince William County | 18 Comments
In case you don’t get the reference, go here. While Gerry Connolly supports the lease of Fairfax County property to an Islamic school run by folks who cover up child molesters and teach jihad, he screams that Keith Fimian is a member of a Catholic organization that promotes Christian ethics in local businesses.
What a tool.

Nah, It Couldn’t Be Illegal Aliens, Could It?
17 September 2008 | Fairfax County, Illegal Aliens | 48 Comments
Herndon has seen the incidence of persons being cited for driving without a license rise by 700% in the last five years, and although the Fairfax Times can’t seem to find an explanation for this dramatic change, Snapped Shot does manage to point out a quote that might give a hint to what the problem […]

A Radioactive Commute
17 September 2008 | Fairfax County, Prince William County | 8 Comments
A Tuesday morning rush hour on 66 east, in Fairfax County. Traffic is jammed, as usual. It’s stop and go. The boredom of sitting traffic leads you to start looking at the traffic around you, and you glance at the label of the unusual ten foot long, four foot diameter container on the flatbed truck […]
Fimian Takes The Lead In The Eleventh
7 September 2008 | Fairfax County, US Congress, Prince William County | 10 Comments
Eleventh District Congressional candidate Keith Fimian addressed the crowd at the 7th annual “Boots & Barbecue” at Supervisor Stirrup’s house this afternoon and broke some interesting news. His internal polls had been showing him in a dead heat with Gerry Connolly for quite some time, which was then confirmed by an outside polling group. Keith […]
