Jeanette Rishell: I’m In Search Of A Clue
13 May 2009 | Jeanette Rishell | 12 Comments
The Gainesville Times recently interviewed the hapless Jeanette Rishell trying to divine what legislative agenda she promises to pursue. After what must have been a lengthy conversation, they came up empty. Jeanette Rishell simply doesn’t have any ideas at all.

More Criticism of the News & Messenger
11 May 2009 | Jeanette Rishell, Manassas City | 9 Comments
This letter to the editor provides a welcome follow-on to yesterday’s criticism of the News and Messenger trying to argue that letting formerly detained terrorists from Guantanamo loose in our communities. The prominent front page coverage given to the “gay prom” held at the Bull Run Unitarian Universalist Church has resulted in another reader backlash, […]

Jeanette Rishell, Still Trying To “Be Somebody”
16 April 2009 | Jeanette Rishell | 27 Comments
Jeanette Rishell is out there once again trying to be our delegate. After the twenty point thumping she got last year, most would have thought she would have gotten the message about just how terrible a candidate she is and how extraordinarily difficult it would be for her to unseat Delegate Jackson Miller. Even the […]

Rishell Back For Another Thumping!
3 February 2009 | Jeanette Rishell | 9 Comments
Jeanette Rishell, the far-left liberal two time loser who failed to defeat Delegate Jackson Miller in 2006 and 2007 recently sent out an email to supporters announcing her intention to run again this November. This should be endlessly amusing. Her previous campaigns have been positively comedic — getting wrong the number of precincts she will […]

FINAL NUMBERS FROM THE 50TH
14 December 2007 | 50th HOD District | 16 Comments
The last financial reports came out a few days ago from the 2007 election. The final numbers on the race between Jeanette Rishell and Jackson Miller are interesting, if not especially surprising.

Manassas-Manassas Park Post-Election Analysis
7 November 2007 | 29th VA Senate, Manassas Park, Manassas City, 50th HOD District | 63 Comments
Manassas is a pretty solidly Republican area with strong affinity for long-time Senator Chuck Colgan, and a jurisdiction where the immigration debate has been hot and heavy, especially with the construction of the “Liberty Wall” billboard in the city’s historic district. The 50th District rematch with Jackson Miller and Jeanette Rishell was largely a referendum […]

Jackson Miller Crushes, And Other Observations
6 November 2007 | Prince William County, 50th HOD District | 25 Comments
With all but one precinct reporting, Jackson Miller is leading Jeanette Rishell with more than a twenty percentage point lead in the 50th House Distruct. Although Rishell’s campaign called Jackson Miller yesterday to make sure they knew how to contact Rishell in order to concede, Jeanette Rishell still hasn’t called Jackson Miller yet. The race […]

Jeanette Rishell Lies Again
30 October 2007 | Jeanette Rishell, 50th HOD District | 105 Comments
The inanity continues with Jeanette Rishell’s false negative mail pieces today with a slap at Jackson Miller for voting for HB2797 in the House Privileges and Elections Committee in the last session of the General Assembly. Claiming that “Miller’s extremism isn’t what we want in the 50th District”, the piece tells voters to oppose Jackson’s […]

MJM Endorses Jackson Miller
26 October 2007 | 50th HOD District | 25 Comments
Last year the MJM gave a rather lukewarm endorsement of Jackson Miller for Delegate of the 50th House District. This year, that endorsement became rock-solid given Miller’s hard work to fulfill his campaign promises and Jeanette Rishell’s abominable behavior during the campaign. Will the last person to leave the Jeanette Rishell campaign please remember […]

Jeanette Rishell’s Insider Baseball
24 October 2007 | Jeanette Rishell | 27 Comments
Last year Jeanette Rishell’s campaign manager was Matt Harrison, a pretty sharp guy who I had an opportunity to speak with in February of this year after he resigned from the PWCDC. He spent some time giving me an insider’s perspective about Jeanette Rishell, and given what we’ve seen from her campaign this year, what […]

HSL PAC Endorsements
21 October 2007 | 52nd HOD District, 13th HOD District, 50th HOD District | 7 Comments
The Help Save Loudoun PAC, which supports candidates that are strong on the illegal alien issue, has announced it’s endorsements. They’ve picked some excellent candidates in Prince William County including Delegates Bob Marshall, Jackson Miller and Jeff Frederick. I couldn’t agree more. These are all top-tier Delegates.
Gov. Kaine To Announce Jackson Miller Endorsement
20 October 2007 | 50th HOD District | 19 Comments
I guess Governor Kaine’s endorsement of Delegate Jackson Miller should be coming in any day now, since he’s already stressing that the General Assembly needs representatives that have public safety experience. Since Jackson Miller is the only actively serving Police Officer in the House of Delegates, the following probably should go double for him:
Joe and […]

How are the Moderates Breaking
18 October 2007 | 50th HOD District | 32 Comments
Having driven all over the 50th District, I’ve noticed something odd. There are far more yards with both Miller and Colgan signs than Colgan and Rishell signs.

Jeanette Rishell Is Hiding Her True Agenda
18 October 2007 | Jeanette Rishell | 8 Comments
The “Immigration & Human Rights Law Group” is going to be providing free consultations for illegal aliens at — you guessed it — the Bull Run Unitarian Universalist Church this evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. This is the church where Jeanette Rishell as a leader of the “Social Justice Committee” conducted a “split the […]

FitzSimmonds and Miller Out Fundraise Opponents
15 October 2007 | 29th VA Senate, 50th HOD District | 6 Comments
Manassas area Republicans Bob FitzSimmonds and Jackson Miller both bested their pro-illegal immigrant Democratic opponents in September fundraising. FitzSimmonds beat Colgan $161,346 to $134,494 while Miller beat Rishell $60,648 to $38,028. This is quite a turn from earlier reporting periods, where cash from Richmond was giving local Democrats the edge in campaign finance. Although the […]

Jeanette Rishell Crushed In Debates
11 October 2007 | Jeanette Rishell, 50th HOD District | 26 Comments
Lowell Feld at RazingKaine was kind enough to upload this video of Jackson Miller taking Jeanette Rishell to task on YouTube during a debate at the Prince William Committee of 100, something I haven’t had a chance to do. How nice of him.
Tonight Rishell and Miller squared off briefly at a […]

Miller and Rishell Have A Debate
5 October 2007 | 50th HOD District | 55 Comments
I’ll have more on this later, but Jackson Miller really whupped Jeanette Rishell tonight at the Prince William County of 100 Debate. Rishell got so flustered at one point that she compared abortion to going to war in a bizarre reference that sounded as if she was talking about going to war against unborn children. […]

“El Taco” Endorsements Are In!
4 October 2007 | 29th VA Senate, 50th HOD District | 29 Comments
So Rishell, Colgan and Ryland have received the “El Taco” endorsement. I really don’t understand why this isn’t prominently featured on their campaign websites.

Rishell’s Expenses
2 October 2007 | Jeanette Rishell | 9 Comments
Much has been made of Jeanette Rishell’s fundraising. As of the last report (which covered until the end of August), Ms. Rishell has raised $128,583 for her campaign. Wow!
Well… not so much.
MJM: Rishell’s Chances “Down The Drain”
2 October 2007 | Jeanette Rishell, 50th HOD District | 21 Comments
This is one even the Manassas Journal-Messenger couldn’t ignore:
The House Rules Committee made the administrative change to raise the per diem payment.
That means there was no vote on the pay increase.
That means Miller couldn’t have voted for it.
That means that the mailer is false.
We don’t know how much money Rishell spent on the mailer, […]
